8 of 8 Air Arms S410/S510 Magazine, .177 Reviews
Ease of loading, no spring to fight. They slip right in and out of my S510.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe price. Can't see the justification of the high cost of these. Most mags I see are about half this price.
What Others Should KnowPut a felt-tip index mark between chambers of metal part of mag. Load mag noting location of index mark (I put mine on the corner with the round grip). When the mag cycles back to this position you know it is empty. I see no other way to tell how many shots are left when the mag gets down to the last few rounds.
Clear rear cover makes seeing when pellets are running low.
Things I Would Have ChangedAt $50 apiece it is quite expensive
They are easy to load and use I ordered 2 to go with my 1 that came with the rifle.
Things I Would Have ChangedA little pricy
It's very simple and effective.
Things I Would Have ChangedThere should be some sort of color code to distinguish pellet size. If you have several mags in 0.177, 0.22, and 0.25, they all look exactly alike at a glance. The price is unjustified for such a simple piece of equipment.
What Others Should KnowThere is no positive stop when the magazine is empty. It is easy to accidentally fire a blank.
easy to use. Take your time inserting full or removing empty magazines and you will have no problems. magazines are light, so carrying a pocket full is easy.
Things I Would Have Changedit remains to be seen how robust the plastic housing is.
What Others Should Knowa little pricey, but what are you going to do? the magazine turns ccw if for any reason you want to load less than 10 pellets; make sure a pellet is in the open port. I have 2 and am buying 2 more.
Easy to load.
Things I Would Have Changedso far, nothing...
What Others Should KnowI should have bought more than 1. Time will tell how robust the magazine is.
I bought two of this pellet guns a cp sport and night hawk during my stay in California and enjoyed using them for target practice, extremely accurate and looks real . need to buy extra magazines and other accessories but were not available at any big 5 sporting goods.
Things I Would Have Changedthe magazine should be change due to limited number of shots, and the switch for the nighthawk flashlight to large for a small CO2 hand gun
What Others Should Knowperfect for pest control specially rodents and easy to handle because it's light weight.

The air gun only comes with one magazine. I think that 3 are a minimum but at nearly $50 each I am a bit reluctant to have more. The magazine works well.
Things I Would Have ChangedI would own more if they were not so expensive or there was a quantity discount.
What Others Should KnowI took me a bit to figure out how to secure the pellet in the magazine that was in the location where the magazine is loaded and the gun is loaded from. I fount that rotating the drum 1/2 hole keeps the pellet in the drum. But one must remember to align the pellet with the hole when the magazine is inserted into the gun. And that takes a bit of coordination to both retain the pellet in the magazine as insert the magazine in the gun.
But with practice it goes just fine.
