Description
The Athlon Optics Heras SPR 15-60x56 Rifle Scope with BLR2 SFP MOA reticle features a design intended to promote accuracy for demanding shooting at long distances. It utilizes a high-precision erector system for consistent adjustability, and a 30mm one piece aircraft-grade aluminum tube for longevity.
The scope is waterproof and shockproof for peace of mind, and argon purged for improved fogproofing compared to scopes that use standard purging materials. It uses advanced fully-multicoated lenses for crisp views despite poor lighting or inclement weather, and it provides vivid colors because it offers better light transmission than traditional scopes.
The Athlon Optics Heras SPR 15-60x56 has a precision zero stop on the elevation stop that allows shooters to return to zero without shifting focus from their target, in addition to a locking windage turret that helps to prevent inadvertent adjustment due to bumps or snags. Each turret adjusts in a range of 56 MOA, with 10 MOA per rotation, and .125 MOA click increments.
The BLR2 SFP (second focal plane) MOA reticle uses etched glass for improved visibility, and it has horizontal crosshairs with hashmarks every .5 MOA and numbers every 2 MOA, and identical holdover markings on the bottom portion, as well as holdunder markings every .5 MOA from .5 MOA to 2 MOA. The center features a .075 MOA opening without a dot for a clear view of the target.
To get a scope that will improve shooting performance for competitions such as F-Class and benchrest, buy the Athlon Optics Heras SPR 15-60x56 with BLR1 SFP MOA reticle from Pyramyd AIR today.

Weight/clarity. Clear up to 40 power than starts to darken a bit. Still very useable on 60 power just not in low light.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing.
What Others Should KnowI have two FX Impacts. I have a Nightforce Competition (15-55 power) on one and bought this as a backup on my other Impact for serious target shooting For the price the Athlon is a STEAL. As good as the NF? No. But the NF was almost $2500. This Athlon would be a good deal at $1k.
