The individual packing of course is why we buy these in the first place. So loved the packing, sort of. The pellets shoot perfect in my old springer Beeman R7, best grouping i have ever had from any pellet ever. A dime can cover the holes in a target at 50 feet.

They were shipped to me in nothing more than a padded envelope. Of course the envelope must have taken a hard hit somewhere along the way. One of the hinges on the box was broken and of course the pellets were rolling around on the inside. So PA take notice. When a customer is buying the most expensive pellet you have individually packed, take the time to put in a small cardboard box with bubble wrap or something to protect them.

I could tell they were loose inside before i even opened then envelope. I took a live action video of me opening the envelope showing all the loose pellets. I sent the video to PA and they promptly sent me another box of 200 properly packed in a larger box with packing material to keep it save.

The packaging is great with each pellet in its own pocket. (100 to a Styrofoam card and 2 cards in a nice hinged box!) They are uniform and performed very well for me. I was looking for a quality lead pellet at just under 8 grains for subsonic performance in my back yard for my modified Gamo Hunter Extreme. Counter-bored and ported, it really likes the Gamo Raptor pellet which is just too loud at 1550 fps. I experimented/chronographed with various pellets and estimated that at 7.87 grains THIS pellet would perform well while remaining just below the speed of sound. My calculations were correct. [FYI Counter-boring shortened the barrel by 3" without losing cocking leverage and porting channeled off extra destabilizing air for more accuracy!]

Often the only way to KNOW which pellet is best requires direct experimentation and observation. Reading a review authored by someone with different standards using different equipment, ranges and conditions may not provide much useful information. I tested this pellet at 90' in my backyard as that is where I intended to use it! This pellet worked great in MY modified rifle to achieve MY goals. It consistently struck a 1.5" metal spinner at that range. The quality of the packaging of this precision pellet was a pleasant surprise.
