The Hawke Airmax 2-7x32 AO Scope with AMX 10x Mil Dot Reticle was engineered as a lightweight and compact option that works with the specific characteristics of airguns to deliver affordable quality that gets results. With the H2 optics system that features 16 layer fully multi-coated lenses and a 1-inch aluminum mono-tube combined with a 32mm objective, it provides excellent light transmission.
This scope utilizes capped low-profile turrets that can be adjusted in a range of 120 MOA for both windage and elevation using 1/4 MOA increments, and parallax-free views from 7.5 yards to infinity are achieved via the adjustable objective. The lenses supply crisp views regardless of challenging weather and lighting conditions because they are waterproof, nitrogen purged, shockproof, and fog proof.
The second focal plane (SFP) AMX 10x Mil Dot reticle on this Hawke Airmax features etched glass and accurate spacing on the 10x magnification level. It has aim points in every direction on the first 5 mil portions that are 1 mil apart, as well as mil-spaced hollow posts for bracketing after the aim points. The bottom has horizontal bars every 1 mil, from .5 mil to 4.5 mil, for longer distances.
To make maintaining and protecting the scope easier, the package includes lens covers, a lens cloth, and an instruction manual. Compact, low magnification with AO (very important), nice CALIBRATED reticle. Everything really. Low pro turrets calibrated, just what you need not what you want. Nice rubber and engraving
Things I would have changed:Paint the erector tube spring black. I can see it, it is really kinda cool to see. Big spring in little scope, you know it's a tank. I've never seen the spring through the glass it cought my attention.
What others should know:Really clear glass and reticle. I am thoroughly happy I spent the money to go with a trusted name brand. More for less mean cheap. Less for more means quality. I want quality, I spent the money "good price" and I got it. I'm always let down with scope. Not this time.
