What others should know:The shooting cycle of the P11/P1 air pistol is somewhat like a .22LR pistol. If you are used to shooting single stroke pneumatics of PCP's practice will be needed yo shoot tight groups with this pistol. This pistol will make you a better marksman. Consistent hold and shot follow through is key to tight groups.

Does this gun still come with iron sights, or are they fiber optic now? Prefer irons, but I'm OK with either.

Is the noise from the P-11 in .22 lower than the .177 (because the velocity is lower) I am seeking a quiet and scopeable first quality pistol... and the Chiaffa is not scopeable. (Not without a little gunsmith work ,
No, they're about the same in terms of noise level. Most of that noise comes from the internal action of the gun though. From a quality perspective, the Weihrauch made guns are hard to beat, this is definitely a good choice.
Can you buy the P11 grips separately for use on a P1?
I don't know where/if you can get these grips separately but they will not fit the P1. The P11 uses a "half-frame" and the grips are a one-piece design. The P1 uses a standard frame and two piece grips that and compatible with many 1911 grips.
