Benjamin Marauder Air Rifle Stock, Wood

Would have been a nice upgrade for my synthetic stocked Marauder. Unfortunately I had to return it as it wouldn’t fit my very early version of the .25 cal Marauder. My early gun uses a bolt thru stock attachment , much like present marauders, but in a different location than used on the current version of the Marauder. Pyramid was , as always, very easy to deal with and accepted my return.

Place a note in the description stating these stocks won’t fit early version Marauder rifles.

See above regarding incompatibility of these stocks with first generation Marauder rifles.

The look and feel where at first was great, nice checkering and holds well, was looking forward to this to replace the synthetic stock until I raised up the comb. It looks like they Sawzall to cust the comb, extremely poor finish on the wood underneath, stain leached under and looks bad.

Make an attempt to finish under the comb, and least sand it.

Mine was a fairly tight fit but feels solid, unless you don't plan to use the comb I wouldn't buy this one

Very nice looking stock. Looks like Turkish walnut but I see nothing that verifies this comment. Super easy to swap out the synthetic stock. Super nice way to upgrade the Marauder.

This is a beautiful piece of wood! Fit and finish is perfect and it really takes my Marauder to the next level! My Marauder shoots as accurately as dome of my other air guns that cost 2X-3X more. Replacing the synthetic stock with this one has put it in the same class as the others as far as looks and performance! Definitely money well spent!

The finish is like it was stated, but not finished. A final coat of a nice finish would have been nice, but I'll probably do it myself.

For the price this really is a bargain. Glad to see Benjamin offering these stocks for sale as well as putting them on the new Marauders. They really do like nice!
