The Gamo Swarm Magnum Pro 10X GEN3i Multi-Shot Air Rifle is an enhanced version of this breakbarrel platform that focuses on high performance and value. It reaches velocities up to 1300 FPS with alloy pellets to provide the power and accuracy needed for small-game hunting, pest control, and target practice.
This model of the air rifle features an updated stock with a traditional hunting style while maintaining the automotive-grade glass-filled nylon all-weather construction for superior performance. It also uses texturing on the cheekpiece, forearm, and grip to provide additional non-slip operation.
The multi-shot functionality on the Gamo Swarm Magnum Pro is enabled by the 10X GEN3i Quick-Shot inertia-fed magazine that offers precise loading technology because it uses the inertia from recoil to load the next pellet. This compact horizontal magazine allows for 10 shots without having to reload and results in smoother loading for each pellet.
The two-stage adjustable Custom Action Trigger on this air rifle can be independently adjusted for travel on both the first and second stages to get a sharp break. In addition, the IGT Mach 1 inert gas piston powerplant leads to shooting and cocking that is steadier and more consistent than competing air rifles that use a standard metal spring.
The 11mm dovetail Recoil Reducing Rail nearly eliminates the force of recoil transmitted to scopes and other optics, and the Shock Wave Absorber recoil pad lowers felt recoil by up to 74% to make the shooting experience more comfortable. In addition, the package includes a Gamo 3-9x40 scope and one-piece mount.

Extremely accurate right out of the box. The velocity is very consistent. Using JSB Match Diablo Exact Jumbo 15.89 it had an avg velocity of 852fps with a STD dev of 10. Even with the cheap pellets you could cover the 25 yd group with a half dollar.
Things I would have changed:Do away with the cheap scope and lower the price.
What others should know:This is one very good break barrel. It’s not for the frail or weak though. It takes an effort to cock it.

Put 500 rounds through mine so far very impressed. Great power and accuracy for a break-barrel. The scope is not bad not good. No range/windage indicators but it’s got a clear image. The swarm mags are great flawless function so far. The trigger is very mushy out the box but it’s an easy fix (see next). Stock feels high quality. A bit tricky to bring the rifle up to shoulder when it’s resting forward on a sling cause there’s nothing to get your thumb up under. That’s all Monte Carlo style stocks though. If you want to be able to bring the rifle up to shoulder super fast you might want the non pro variant. I haven’t chrono’d mine yet but from the videos I’ve seen online it seems to be remarkably consistent. Pyramid always brings great deals great service.
Things I would have changed:The trigger needs a special screw to turn it into a great sub 2lb trigger. It’s an m2.5 45x10mm. You can find them at hardware stores for less than a dollar. If you tighten it all the way the sear won’t engage or it could fire the moment it’s cocked so take care make sure it’s unloaded and fine tune it to where it’s safe. Look up a tutorial. Give it the ol’ drop test make sure it doesn’t fire on its own after fine tuning. You DO NOT want accidental discharge on a rifle this powerful. If you buy the trigger screw and a good AO scope for around 150$ you would have an absolutely killer setup for around $500. Honestly nothing beats it for that price. Nothing even comes close frankly. Gamo did really well with this one.
What others should know:Clean the barrel before you shoot it. Mine came filthy. Rifle isn’t heavy but it feels heavier than I expected cause its length. I slapped a picatinny mounted split bipod on mine it’s way easier to shoot from a rest. It’s putting groups within a quarter at 25 yards. Be prepared for a workout when you go plinking.
