Hatsan Optima 3-9x40 AO Rifle Scope, Mil-Dot Reticle, 1" Tube, 11mm Rings

Overall quality for the price. The optics are much better than I expected.

I just bought one of this scopes, but, in this case not from Pyramudair. Mounted it yesterday and started the zeroing process. I mounted the scope on a extra accurate rifle, a Brocock Sniper with a poligonal LW barrel tailored for that specific rifle. So no way to blame the rifle. The scope is able to be zeroed perfectly ank keeps the zero. Captured light is not the one of an expective one (vortex, Element, Leupold, Vortex) but is more than enough for hunting puposes. The 5 point of reference, (4 dots on the reticle and the top of the base line), allow to have reference for shooting up to 120 yards. The light weigh of the scope is very convenient. I was able to adjust the dipters to my eye perfectly toget absolutely clarity on the reticle and the field of vision. If you are lucky, sometimes you can have a perfect funtional and reliable scope for PCP shooting that implies to spend just a fraction of the cost of an expensive scope (that can also have a chance of no work properly)

Scope has adjustable objective and works well. I think that not to have Adjustable Objective is better for hunting puposes. In my oppinion, scope makes should rather work in improving clarity with fixed focus.

If you receive a good one of this scopes it could be a super bargain.

Quality - very poor on this scope. There is no focus, or it was broken/damaged. Zoom was okay, but clarity was lost.

I returned this scope. When setting it up to initial zero, this scope was not adjustable or or would not keep the adjustments. I would not buy this scope again, or anything in the same line/range.

Nice scope. Fits the Hatsan AT44-10's 11 mm rails like the factory planned!

The bell sits very close to the rear sight, approximately .030" clearance. I'm still making minor adjustments, especially eye relief, so that clearance might open up a bit more in the near future.

Scope was returned , was sent another after waiting 2 months. Same problem as before. Discarded and bought another brand. Also refused credit for when trying to buy another at a higher price.

Got this in a package deal and was surprised with the quality. I've tried it on a couple different pcp's and it does the job, holds zero ok and the glass is acceptable, especially for the price. I usually just put the free scopes in a drawer and pull them out if I need one to put on a cheap kids gun. But this will do the job for plinking and shooting small critters in the back yard.

For the price, can't really think of anything.

Just remember this was a freebe for a reason, it's cheap. I'd rather see PA or Hatsan just drop the price of the gun. But for someone just buying their first gun, ok, it'll get the job done until they can buy a better scope.

I am actually using this on the rifle. I just tossed the rings that came with it and installed a heavy duty set. It is an ok scope It was free with the gun. It is clear with an ok Reticle. I just wanna see how long it will last. 200 pellets and so far so good.

Best for low recoil air guns.

This scope was free as part of a black friday combo with the Hatsan .30 cal air rifle. Ive put about 100-150 rounds through the gun and this scope is not built for the recoil of this gun. The entire scope will turn in the scope mounts after 5-8 shots in the .30 cal. I've locked down the supplied mount screws and still get scope shift. I've swapped out the scope mounts and still get scope shift. Just popped one of the reticle wires in the scope, which made me come and write this review.

Very good picture; clear, bright. Held it's sight in from PyramydAir during shipment to my home.

This is my first scope with adjustable objective. It will take me some time to get use to. If I had to purchase a scope that had an adjustable objective, I think I would have one with the objective adjuster on the right like some I have seen from PyramydAir scope section. This scope came with the Hatsan Flash QE PCP Air Rifle.
