The Hatsan Velox PCP Pistol is an airgun with semi-auto operation designed for reliability and performance in a lightweight and compact format. With lead pellet velocities of up to 620 FPS in .22 and 580 FPS in .25, and power up to 12.6 FPE in .22 and 15 FPE in .25, this air pistol provides accurate shots for plinking and target practice.
One of the most noticeable improvements on this airgun is the improved trigger system that results in a remarkably smooth and consistent pull with an incredibly crisp and pleasing break every time. In addition, this is a semi-auto air pistol, meaning the time it takes to empty the magazine is limited only by the speed with which the shooter can pull the trigger.
The accuracy of the Hatsan Velox is enabled in part by the precision rifled and choked German steel barrel that is shrouded to reduce the noise of each shot and increase the steadiness of the barrel for consistent performance. It also includes a 1/2 UNF threaded muzzle that allows shooters to attach an external moderator to further lower the sound produced by a shot.
This air pistol provides a red fiber optic front sight and a removable and adjustable green fiber optic rear sight, as well as a combination 11mm Dovetail and Weaver optics rail. It also has a grip with texturing to offer a comfortable and slip-free hold, in addition to storage for the extra magazine in the bottom.

What Others Should KnowOut of the box; first cylinder after filling it to 250 Bar I got 20 shots flawlessly using KING .25 DIABOLO EXACT 25,39 gr pulling the trigger as fast as possible.And a other 10 shots on the second cylinder flawlessly.My way of testing any product by going all out; out of the box.Other than that;the future will tell.
Great feel and well built. Shoots nice and smooth, air fitting directly fit my Benjamin Armada hand pump. Great purchase for the money.

The power for being compact. It's not really small for a hand gun, but it is small for a PCP air gun.

I like the build quality and looks of the 25 caliber Dark Earth pistol, also like the ability of carrying a second magazine in the grip.
Things I Would Have ChangedI have a hard time loading magazine properly in gun, have to work the bolt back and forth while moving the magazine, there should be a better design for magazine to seat.
What Others Should KnowThe reason I have given only three stars is because as other reviewers have said the gun is pellet picky, the JSB Exact King works best for me. Also the gun came with one 25 caliber mag and one 22 caliber mag. Also the gun had no front sight adjustment screw. After adding the $30.00 Hatsan- Optima Red Dot and a 0dB four inch silencer the accuracy greatly improved.

The grip, the feel, the look. All my Hatsan Pcp's shoot strong and consistent. I'm more of a lazer shooter. I just turned 76 so my shooting has evolved to a more leisurely discipline. I love the silent options with most of my Hatsans (7), particularly my Velox. I must confess with all the internet issues I almost went with a more expensive option but this turned out great. Appreciate Pyramid service for almost 30 years. Thanks guys (and ladies)
