JTS COMP1 Portable PCP Compressor

The speed of filling and its cooling system. This is a replacement from the first one. It had an overheating issue I suspected a bad heat sensor. Pyramid replaced it with no issues. This one is working as expected and very happy with it

I wish it would have a temp gauge on it so you can see the internal temp

Pyramid air is a good place to shop and they are always willing to answer any questions you may have and the are very knowledgeable

very quiet compared to others. it also separates water from the air. i regrease the cylinder after every 400 to 500 uses. i've had it for 2 yrs. now and it still fills perfectly for my avenger and flash qe. great little pump!!!

Put in a digital temp gauge and make the charge hose at least twice as long

At first it filled my Impact M3 tank good. But later on it was getting weeker. After a few months of light use it started shutting down after about 3 minutes of use and then I would have to let it cool down and start it again. Sometime I would do this 3 or 4 times for 1 top off on my pcp. I filled a claim with PA they acknowledged the claim and sent the info to JTS and haven't heard from them even tho my unit was still under warranty.

It would be nice if JTS would at least contact me! I don't think a compressor like this one is very durable. It needs to be water cooled.

Spend a little more money and get a compressor that is water cooled.

Done more research and not bought it as a main full time use compressor.

If you're buying this as a backup in the field to use every once in awhile you probably won't have many complaints. I used mine quite a bit and within 2 months the Piston seal was shot, I put the replacement in which was quite easy but I don't think it's going to hold up at the rate I use it. In hindsight I wish I would have put my money towards something liquid cooled with oil as a main unit and maybe bought something similar to this for a lot less money for occasional our emergency use.

Purchase this as a backup,
or just an occasional use compressor or stock up on a lot of extra piston seals if you're going to work it hard.

Been trying to contact jts for extra seals but contacting customer service seems to be hit and miss, going to look for an aftermarket higher quality seal since apparently they don't want me to buy one from them.

Everything. Extremely quiet. Can fill in your kitchen on the table. Went from 1400 psi to 2800 in such a short time I didn’t get a chance to time it. Shut off at the correct pressure.

Make it cheaper

Very very light. Don’t waste your money on those cheap Amazon products go thru pyramid Air.

Very quiet compared to aftermarket comparable portable compressors. Performs well. I added a second water/moisture filter inline, and she works beautifully. Ihas been extensively in last 2 months, Stays cooler and no issues so far. I chose the JTS unit over the Rovair because of its proprietary cooling system.

Noting at this point. Maybe a slightly longer air hose so I don't have park unit so close to port all of the time.

At this point in time it's a very good choice depending on your budget. Does the job for a lot less money. At this price the way it performs, if you bought some much expensive equipment because the pro's do it. You wasted your money. I retired and live in the country and don't always like going out shooting traditional arms due terrain restrictions. Heavily wooded and brushy with short to medium ranged sectors of fire. Besides not much fun in short distances with traditional arms not to mention ammo!. So I don't hunt much anymore but enjoy these air rifles. So, you can obtain quality compressors and air rifles for less and get results just like the FX M3 I almost bought and saved a ton of money went with Avenge X Tact with good Athlon scope and she shots just as good as I have seen. Not at all interest in bling. Performance matters.

Works great, very easy to move around as it's very compact and somewhat light. Have used it to fill my Daystate Red Wolf Safari for about a year and zero issues. Must be said I have a custom 700cc on the Safari as well and fills it from 150 BAR to 250 in 8 minutes.

I think one of the main keys with any portable compressor that aren't water cooled it to keep fill times short, 10 minutes. I've done this since day one with the JTS and works today as good as brand new

Not using my hand pump. Should have went straight to compressor. 1st PCP, so common mistake I Guess. Haven’t used it much, but works fine. As advertised.

Nothing wrong with anything it does or has on it.

Don’t really know anything different, but compressor works just fine. I have the JTS Airacuda-max in .22 and very happy with that too.
