The Hawke Vantage 30 WA 1-8x24 with Tactical BDC illuminated reticle utilizes 11 layer fully multi-coated lenses and the H2 optics system to provide crisp and clear views, and it offers 3.8 inches of eye relief. This scope uses a 30mm aluminum mono-tube and a 24mm objective lens that combine to offer a wide field of view in a light and compact scope.
The low-profile capped turrets on the scope adjust in a range of 210 MOA for elevation and windage, with 1/2 MOA increments. The scope yields crisp and bright views in spite of poor weather or low light because it is fog proof, shockproof, waterproof, and nitrogen purged.
This model of the Hawke Vantage 30 WA uses a glass-etched second focal plane (SFP) 1/2 MOA Tactical BDC (bullet drop compensating) reticle that has accurate measurements on the 8X magnification setting. It has a horseshoe and a center dot, as well as ammo drop compensating holdover aim points on the lower portion, windage markers, and bracketing posts. Five levels of red or green illumination can be activated for the horseshoe and center dot. The Tactical BDC reticle is built specifically around the ballistics of the 5.56 cartridge, improving holdover accuracy.
The package for this scope comes with lens covers, a lens cloth, an instruction manual, a reticle booklet, a zoom lever, and a CR2032 battery, and the scope is covered by the Hawke no-fault lifetime warranty for peace of mind.
