Mine was fit/finished very well, especially for the price. It looks like it cost twice what it really does. The power....holy cow. I'm averaging 1030 fps with Crosman premier 7.9s.. Accuracy so far is better than average. I haven't found the pellet it likes, but I can keep it inside 1.5" with every pellet so far at 25m. And, to be perfectly honest, I'm horrible at shooting springers. I much prefer PCPs...but I will be keeping this one. As a bonus, my stock has some nice figuring and a hint of some flame pattern. Very nice. Yes, it smells like oiled walnut. Get over it, or get a synthetic stock.
Things I would have changed:The iron sights aren't very good...I had mine bottomed out, and still needed 6" of adjustment at 10m. With a scope, it doesn't matter though. The trigger is also rough, gritty, and long. It's definitely not a match trigger...but mine is fairly light for this style of trigger.
What others should know:For the price, it can't be beat. It looks and shoots like a rifle that costs twice what I paid for it. I will definitely be looking at this one (or the nearly-identical N-11) when I get a .25.

This rifle has a lot of power.
Things I would have changed:No accuracy to speak of. I used 4 different scopes and could not zeronitnin for one shot. Using open sights proved even worse. The stain that was on the gun smelled so bad I could barely stand it. The spring was so loud it sounded like a giant sneezing.
What others should know:This gun is pathetic. If you want a good .25 Turkish rifle get a Hatsan.

What does this gun actually weigh? The one review indicates it may be as heavy as 9 lbs. I tried to ask someone from Pyramyd and they hung up on me.
7.85 pounds so just under 8 pounds without a scope.
Is 800fps in .25 cal, is that with lead or alloy pellets?
They must be alloy. My 22 caliber averages 755fps with 14.3's
My guess only( alloy? )
The 800fps claim in .25 cal, is that with lead or the infamous non lead pellets?
Non - Lead ?

This is a nice looking gun overall. The stock is nicely shaped but dry as delivered. I applied 12 coats of boiled linseed oil, one coats every 2-3 days and it made a huge difference. The checkering adds a nice touch. The metal parts are nicely finished and fitted. Rifle gives the impression of quality. The scope mount looks robust and I hope it is because this gun has some recoil. There is no spring twang at all but the firing sequence is a bit noisy. I haven't got a chance to test out the accuracy yet due to weather but I did find that it shoots low. I plan on scoping this gun, hope that works out better. For the money this is a lot of gun.
Things I would have changed:I would dump the F/O sights and supply a regular blade and notch. I would finish the stock to make the nice woodgrain stand out instead of leaving it dry and thirsty looking. I would lighten the trigger pull, mine is on the heavy side. Get rid of the cheesy looking barrel shroud and replace with metal, it detracts from the appearance of the rest of the gun.
What others should know:I am somewhat disappointed in the power. Specs say 50lbs of cocking effort but I think it a bit less than that. It is stiff but I can cock it no problem with one arm. A 10 shot average with Crosman Premier 14.3 pellets average 755fps. The spread was a bit high with a low of 733 and high of 775 but the gun is new. Specs say 1000fps so I was expecting at least 800. My Trail NP2 beats it by 50fps but it is an NP. My X20S2 springer averages 737 with the same pellet and is much easier to cock. To be fair though, I did tune the X20 last year which did improve performance. Gun shoots low. When adjusting the rear sight up to compensate the sight became loose from lack of spring pressure. The barrel looks very thin on this gun which may be because of the beefy stock but I not sure about this. The guns accuracy is yet undetermined. The heavy trigger certainly won't help. A few offhand shots did show some promise. Overall, I like this gun. It does need some tweaking here and there though.
