TenPoint Vapor RS470 Crossbow

Amazing bow. Perfectly balanced for easy carrying. Smooth trigger pull for increased accuracy. Cocking and decocking is amazingly simple and safe. Only negative is the quiver set up for this bow is not ideal. Arrows in the way when cocking. And the quick detach had cause the quiver to fall off more then once. Only other suggestion would be to use orange plastic for the crank handle as the black blends in with everything. But that is being picky. The bow itself is top notch.

Very accurate and fast!! Almost went with a Ravin, and after talking to a few people I know that have them I’m glad I went with the Vapor!

Awesome crossbow. Made with American hands. Wonderful quality. Easy and silent to crank. I’ve had it a few months. Shoots perfect, straight and narrow.

Dry-fired my 470 the week I bought it, totally destroying the limbs, cams, and string - totally my fault. Ten-point customer service had my bow re-built for free at a certified repair center. Ten-point really came through when they didn't have to. Love the bow and couldn't be happier! Fast- shooting and hard-hitting. Ten-point has another customer for life! Thank you, Ten-point!

Great crossbow nothing wrong with my ten point, but the hand crank its a problem..first if walking in dark in woods, the hand crank catches on to limb,or heavy brairs . The hank crank falls out. Second thing ten point doesnt remind people to tighting the pin i call that goes into tenpoint to start cranking. I lost my pin or 1/4 drive pin. Sscope perfect. If you can afford VAPOR RS470 buy it.im 66 been using ten point twenty years plus

This crossbow is the fourth one I have purchased from Ten Point and by far it is the best. The speed and accuracy is beyond expectation. The only drawback that I am very disappointed with is that the bolts that come with the crossbow, Evo-X bolts, The fletchings come off very easy. I have never had any problems with the other crossbows that I have owned but this one even though the crossbow itself is great, the bolts are something to desire. I have harvested three deer with this and every bolt the fletchings tore off. I hope Ten Point can solve this problem because the bolts are not cheap to purchase. Ten Point has a superior product except for this problem.

Ive been hunting a long time and I love archery . Im 49 years old and ive wavered back and forth on crossbows in general. Looking over the cheapo stuff im old enough to know better you get what you pay for!!! Ive been through this with compound bow and was not going to do it with a crossbow. This kit has everything you need and its all quality stuff . At first I saw the price and had sticker shock but when i calculate everything you buy to set up a QUALITY compound bow down to the release its reall not to far apart . So when I made my decision to purchase this crossbow it all paid off when I was able to hunt out of a shooting blind that I normally gun hunt out of and took a decent sized Buck it was worth every penny. I shot at him and blew through him he ran off the other way and I waited for dark before I went to look for him. as it got darker I started seeing the lighted Nock I started thinking i missed him. But when I got down to go retrieve my Bolt that was stuck in the ground halfway up the shaft I felt the blood on my hand as I pulled it out of the ground and realized I blew all the way through him at 40 yards. my mind has been exploding with different possibilities with this bow I love the decocking aspect of it I love everything about this bow thank you 10 point for such a quality product.

My father passed away and left me a little money which I used to purchase my RS470. My first crossbow, and first time hunting with a crossbow. On November 4th,2020 at 8:37am At 30 yds, I Shot the biggest buck I’ve ever harvested, and First buck/deer I’ve ever harvested on my property!

The out of box impression was great and the shooting experience was even better. Smooth and consistent operations that allows me to place 1" groups at 60 yards. This far extended my expectations at this FPS.

I have shot (3) times and harvested (2) deer. All (3) shots hit all (3) deer. The one deer I shot and did not harvest, was a situation where I had to shoot between a small tree and the deer's shoulder. I favored the tree side of the shot not wanting to "Shoulder" the deer. The bolt bounced of the tree went into the buck's shoulder 2"! When he jumped it flew out of his shoulder. The 1st deer is a respectable 8 point. Ohio DNR allows only one Buck. The 2nd was my 1srt Doe of this year.. I now have (2) more Doe's tags that I can use to (2) more Doe's given the county I'm in... I'm 57 and have been hunting 30 years .. I have never had the confidence that I have now with the RS470! It is a BEAST!
