VOLANTE is made of high quality Hickory handle and a high carbon steel axe head. The lightweight head allows the thrower to have more accuracy and precision. The VOLANTE axe also makes for a great axe for camping or hunting because it is designed to offer considerable power and leverage in a compact size. Ideally suited for light forest work, splitting smaller firewood and felling smaller sized trees too. VOLANTE meets the Competition Requirements of the International Axe Throwing Federation (IATF). Due to the natural variation in wood (color, grain pattern), each axe will be different and will have inherent disparities. Slight variations between the images and finished goods should be anticipated.
