This Hawke scope has an etched-glass reticle, which is superior to a wire reticle because it's etched by a laser and is much more precise. That lets you get even more accuracy from your gun. Another way that etched glass reticles are superior to wire reticles is when they're illuminated. The etched ones show the illumination only on the reticle. It looks like the reticle is floating. Wire reticles often have a reflection of the illumination in the objective lens, which can be distracting when shooting.

Excellent guidance from Michael Z in customer service and an excellent rifle scope.
What Others Should KnowCount on Pyramid Air for technical advice with an array of air gun products across the price spectrum.
This scope is an excellent scope. It is very clear all the way though. I love the TMX reticle for target shooting and hunting. I liked this scope so much that I bought 3 of them. :-) Now that is proof that this scope is a winner. I like the ability to focus all the way down to 10 yards. The 5-30x50mm does not focus down to 10 yards. If you are an arigunner like me this is a HUGE deal. And did I tell you it has 120 MOA adjustment. Now that is great.
Things I Would Have ChangedThat the 5-30x50 version would focus down to 10 yards. But the 2.5-15x50 one is a winner, no faults.
What Others Should KnowYes, be careful buying the 5-30x50 because you cannot focus down to 10 yards but buy with confidence the 2.5-15x50 version.
first of let me say that pyramyd air has the best costumer service EVER, i received the scope, took it to the range immediately and the parallax was wheeey of with the distance i was shooting, no questions asked i sent it back and got a replacement, and the scope is a beauty, looks great, tracks perfectly, the clicks on the turrets are nice and crisp, and the clarity is spectacular, I'm a big fan of the reticle, currently this scope is mounted on my sako 85 finlight and its taking the recoil perfectly, holding zero like it's no problem, really happy with this purchase, and really happy with pyramyd air.
Things I Would Have Changedits a little bit heavy, thats it
What Others Should Knowreally good scope, if your going to buy it, buy it from pyramyd air,

The clarity is excellent. Not as great as my Swarofsky, but for price difference. I would take this scope anyway. Great Scope
Things I Would Have ChangedWould like the retical brightness settings to be more user friendly. Would like on off switch rather than rotating to 0
What Others Should KnowLove the parallax. You don't need a wheel as it is easy to operate.
