Hawke Sport Optics.

Hawke Sport Optics says this about the 20x TMX reticle: Based on a 20x mil-dot spacing, the TMX features additional windage and hold-over marks for long-range shooting. Allowing for 8-mil spacing of hold-over to the outer edge of the field of view along with 3-mil spacing of windage in each direction. The TMX is a versatile reticle that provides aim points no matter how extreme the conditions. The grid formation features etched reference numbers for ease of use and offers a clear target view due to the use of fine dots. Each cross has a see-through gap where the lines intersect, allowing an unobstructed view of the target.

This Hawke scope has an etched-glass reticle, which is superior to a wire reticle because it's etched by a laser and is much more precise. That lets you get even more accuracy from your gun. Another way that etched glass reticles are superior to wire reticles is when they're illuminated. The etched ones show the illumination only on the reticle. It looks like the reticle is floating. Wire reticles often have a reflection of the illumination in the objective lens, which can be distracting when shooting.

Things I liked: The clarity is excellent. Not as great as my Swarofsky, but for price difference. I would take this scope anyway. Great Scope

Things I would have changed: Would like the retical brightness settings to be more user friendly. Would like on off switch rather than rotating to 0

What others should know: Love the parallax. You don't need a wheel as it is easy to operate.

Things I liked: This scope is an excellent scope. It is very clear all the way though. I love the TMX reticle for target shooting and hunting. I liked this scope so much that I bought 3 of them. :-) Now that is proof that this scope is a winner. I like the ability to focus all the way down to 10 yards. The 5-30x50mm does not focus down to 10 yards. If you are an arigunner like me this is a HUGE deal. And did I tell you it has 120 MOA adjustment. Now that is great.

Things I would have changed: That the 5-30x50 version would focus down to 10 yards. But the 2.5-15x50 one is a winner, no faults.

What others should know: Yes, be careful buying the 5-30x50 because you cannot focus down to 10 yards but buy with confidence the 2.5-15x50 version.
