  • Half Mil Dot spacing on the lower post provides increased aim points for long shots
  • Horizontal bars are calculated at 0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5 and 4.5 mil spacing
  • Hollow posts are segmented into mil spacing and can be used for bracketing

This Airmax riflescope from Hawke Sport Optics is equipped with a convenient side focus control allowing you to make quick and easy adjustments.

This Hawke Sport Optics scope has a mono-tube 30mm chassis providing all the added stability you could ever need for the punishing recoil of magnum airguns. It has a convenient side-focus parallax wheel in addition to a 4 inch sidewheel for easier adjustments.

The AMX etched glass reticle provides even more accuracy from your gun and is based on the 10x half Mil Dot spacing that is popular with other airgunner optics. This reticle features additional windage bars on the lower Mil Dots offering increased aim points for longer range shots. In addition to the crisp etched reticle, the red illumination control bypasses the more common switch for a stepless rheostat. In ambient light conditions, it's a much more flexible way to customize the illumination level to your shooting needs. If you prefer the solid black reticle, simply turn off the illumination.

The fully multi-coated lenses are waterproof, shockproof, and nitrogen filled for the best possible light transmission.

Things I liked: Excellent Build Quality, Great Optics, Great Reticle, Included Sidewheel and Sunshade, Quality Flip-Up Caps, Hawke Warranty, Excellent Ranging for Field Target, Fairly Forgiving Eyebox

Things I would have changed: I wish it had a locking ocular like the Sidewinder Scopes

What others should know: I have been using this scope for 2 seasons of Hunter Class Field Target. I mainly use the scope at 16X because of this. I have been on the search for the holy grail of field target scopes for over a year. I have tried numerous scopes from UTG, Athlon, Hawke, Aztec, Vortex, etc. Most of the scopes were within the $400 - $500 range. In this price range, I have this scope to be the best bang for the buck for Hunter Class Field Target, mainly because of the accurate ranging. Although the optical quality may have been better in a couple other scopes, the ranging didn't come close. I liked this scope so much that I recently bought another one for my TX200 MkIII.

Things I liked: Robust, good features, quality build.

Things I would have changed: Half mils for hold under would be nice.

What others should know: I bought this model for a break barrel as it is not too long and does not interfere with the action and allows good eye relief. I have several Hawke scopes on different air rifles and they all work flawlessly. Hawke customer service is second to none.

Things I liked: The glass is very clear, the turrets work beautifully and accurate. This is the best scope out there for the money. I personally have 8 of them and never had one bit of trouble with any. They have metal screw in dust covers rather then the plastic slip on ones. But this scope and you will be very satisfied.

Things I would have changed: None

What others should know: You cant buy a better scope for this price point.

  • John from Switzerland asked:

hey guys im from swiss and i Really like the Prices here, what i dont like is the Inch/Yard system do you got those scopes in the metric system too ?

    • J from USA:

It is a true mil dot at 10x, so 10cm per dot @ 100 meters, the click value is 6.35 mm per click at 91.44 meters. Shooting guns involves math no matter what side of the pond you are on.

  • Wm. from USA asked:

How well do these scopes range find?

    • J from USA:

If you are talking about paralla× range finding.. this scope is crystal clear a real pleasure to use. But rangeing with paralla× on this scope can be difficult because the adjustment and side wheel are missing markings in the sweet spot between 50yd and 100yd

    • Tyler from USA:

At 24x, they're okay. Depends on how accurate you want to be in your estimations

  • Patrick from USA asked:

Can i use low mounts on the fx wildcat to keep the scope heightdown?

    • Mike from USA:

I tried low mounts but couldnt get my eye low enough to view target. Switched out to high mounts and could sight perfectly.
