If you haven't already considered an Airmax scope from Hawke Sport Optics, this is the scope for you.

This Hawke Sport Optics scope has a mono-tube 30mm chassis providing all the added stability you could ever need for the punishing recoil of magnum airguns. It has a convenient side-focus parallax wheel in addition to a 4 inch sidewheel for easier adjustments and the locking, resettable turrets ensure the most accurate and repeatable adjustments.

The AMX etched glass reticle provides even more accuracy from your gun and is based on the 10x half Mil Dot spacing that is popular with other airgunner optics. This reticle features additional windage bars on the lower Mil Dots offering increased aim points for longer range shots. In addition to the crisp etched reticle, the red illumination control bypasses the more common switch for a stepless rheostat. In ambient light conditions, it's a much more flexible way to customize the illumination level to your shooting needs. If you prefer the solid black reticle, simply turn off the illumination.

The fully multi-coated lenses are waterproof, shockproof, and nitrogen filled for the best possible light transmission.

Things I liked: Hawke Quality....I have several

Things I would have changed: I would like to add the ability for the scope cover to attach to the lens shade. The instructions say it is possible....NOT!

What others should know: The lens cover will not attach to the lens shade...

Things I liked: I'm really impressed with this scope. Lens caps, clarity, and adjustments. The reticle is also impressive although I don't use the illuminated feature hold off or over is very distinct.

Things I would have changed: Nothing

What others should know: I would put this scope up against Leupold, Nikon, Vortex and others. It's very well worth the money.

Things I would have changed: Na

What others should know: Great value for the money. I have another brand scope that is three times the price as this one and the glass is just as clear

  • Jody from USA asked:

Can the Ed sidewheel be used on the Airmax SF30. Will the markings line up if so?

    • Mark from USA:

We do not know if the sidewheels interchange. Probably not. The range markings will not line up.

  • Eric from USA asked:

Hello, is there a smaller wheel available, will the wheel from the Sidewinder fit? Thanks.

    • Mark from USA:

The Sidewinder wheel will not fit. This is a small side wheel.

  • Alex from USA asked:

What are the parallax adjustments on the turrent an side wheel? Are they 10yrds, 25,35,50,100, an so on?

    • Tyler from USA:

Usually there is a marking for 10, 25, 50, 100 and so on. Some have more refined markings than that, but they're typically not accurate as there are too many other variables (like your eyes/vision), so you can really only use those numbers as a close approximation.
