This is my first purchase with Pyramyd Air and man Am I glad I picked this rifle. It is above and beyond my expectations. Finally, a manufacturer that knows how to pack a product for shipment. And no useless BBs, right on! This is my first sniper rifle, I have a Beretta Gas blow back and a electric M4 that I love because are as advertised, metal where should be and plastic of a good quality. Went together 1 2 3 bipod and all. Added a huge scope and it looks awesome. More on accuracy once I get to fire a few more rounds. Pyramid Air, you sure know how to pack a product, amen.
Things I would have changed:First impression: bolt a little hard to pull but it is new so, maybe needs a breaking in period. Maybe more to follow later, I just got it.
What others should know:It is a heavy sucker and 45-inch long so be careful buying a bag or case. I got a 50-in Plano case but not wide enough, go figure.

Good smooth bolt action, and shoots straight and far. Once you get this rifle scoped in, it's a lot of fun. It has been durable so far and for what you pay for and what you get is worth it. Highly recommended!!
Things I would have changed:Nothing

How do you charge/compress the spring on this gun? Break barrel? I know it is spring piston but don't see how to load the spring.
The spring is compressed via the bolt action. So charging the spring happens the same way you would load the firearm version, simply pull the bolt back all the way, and then push it back forward. The rearward movement charges the spring, and the forward movement loads a BB
is there any assembly involved
Yes barrel assembly needs to be attached to the stock with the 2 screws, included (simple) .
Should the bipod adapter move?
There is a certain amount of slop ?

This gun is incredibly accurate. At 25 feet, my little boy can consistently crack a bunch of hazelnuts using .28g beads (with scope). It's getting to the point he's knocking down used pellets just to have a better challenge in our little indoor shooting area. The magazine holder can slip out if you're not careful about fully inserting it, but otherwise, it is a great gun.
Things I would have changed:Make the magazine holder have a better locking mechanism so it doesn't slip out. It's happened a few times where I hear the click of it inserting, but when cocking, it slips out.
What others should know:It is surprisingly, consistently accurate indoors.
