The Athlon Optics Ares ETR UHD 15-60x56 Rifle Scope with BLR1 SFP MOA reticle is engineered to deliver incredible accuracy for long-distance shooting such as benchrest and F-Class. It utilizes a 30mm aircraft-grade one piece tube that is heat treated for improved durability, as well as a 56mm objective lens and a high-precision erector system.
This scope uses advanced fully-multicoated lenses, UHD glass for very low dispersion, and XPL protective coating, which all help to deliver sharp and vivid views and excellent resistance to contaminants such as dirt and oil. In addition, it is waterproof, shockproof, and argon purged to provide improved fogproofing results compared to scopes that have lower-quality purging methods.
The Athlon Optics Ares ETR UHD 15-60x56 has a precision zero stop on the elevation turret that makes it simple to return to zero without looking, as well as a locking windage turret that stops accidental adjustments. The turrets adjust in a range of 56 MOA for both elevation and windage, with 10 MOA per revolution using.125 MOA click increments.
The BLR1 SFP (second focal plane) MOA reticle features etched glass for visibility in all conditions, as well as a fine center dot, horizontal crosshairs and hashmarks with numbers every 2 MOA, a small section for holdunder, and holdover markings and numbers every 2 MOA down to 10 MOA. The markings are accurate at the 40x magnification setting, and multiple levels of illumination can be activated for the center dot.

Edge to edge clarity is crisp and clear. PA works down to 10 yards. Reticle is precise and simple, no "CHRISTMAS TREE" confusion. Dialed up to full power my scope keeps great crispness in view and color rendition is great. I like the 1/8 in clicks this scope has. Comes with simple but outstanding scope caps, large PA fly wheel, and sunshade. Zoom ring, dial ring aid completes the package. You need to buy nothing more than rings and maybe a bubble level ring and your package is complete. I have 3 Athlon Midas scopes already and this scope is my rich man's scope, at a working man's price!!! I like this scope WAY better than a BIG-NAME scope costing way more money that I USED to own. Second focal plane is no loss, as 40 power makes the reticle work as a precise hold off aiming point. Add in the lighted recital that is well placed and out of the way no sticking out along the scope. I can ask for nothing more!!!
