The Athlon Optics Cronus ATS Pro 35L-400 Thermal Scope with Laser Rangefinder joins the features and quality of the scopes in the lineup with the simple distance measuring ability of a laser rangefinder. It features an exceptional NETD rating of less than 25mK for clear and sharp images with less noise and a laser rangefinder with multiple ranging modes and a ranging distance of 10 to 1600 yards.
This scope utilizes a thermal sensor with a 12-micron pixel pitch and a 400x300 resolution that combine to result in improved performance without unneeded weight and added size. In addition, it uses a .49" OLED display with 1440x1080 resolution for an impressive image that can be seen easily, and a 35mm objective lens for increased light gathering ability to deliver bold colors and crisp views.
The Athlon Optics Cronus ATS Pro 35-L400 is fogproof, shockproof, and has an IP67 rating for dustproof and waterproof performance, all of which help to make it a robust and durable scope. It also works with an app for both Apple and Android devices to record audio and video and capture images, as well as the Athlon Ballistics app for storing ammo and rifle profiles to customize holdovers, shot calculations, reticles, and more.
The scope has an automatic recording feature that can capture five images after it detects a shot, and records three seconds of video before the shot and about seven seconds of video after the shot. In addition to laser ranging modes of single, continuous, and shooting via PIP, the scope also has three ranging cursor types, and a large number of adjustable settings for color palettes, reticle brightness and color, image and screen brightness, and more.
