I've wanted this knife for years and it doesn't disappoint. Feels good in the hand and performs great. Wicked Sharp and we'll designed.
Great knife but the sheath is an embarrassment. Like others have mentioned the sheath is just a retread Tanto secure ex sheath that doesn’t even fit properly and rattles. Shame on Cold Steel for half assing a key element on a premium knife. I won’t even put this on my belt until the custom made leather sheath I ordered arrives. It’s unfortunate because the knife is excellent.

Really a Good length of blade and handle. Super sharp and maintains it sharpness and easy to sharpen.

I've had the sword cane about a month and use it every day with confidence.
Big spine for Reinforced sticking. 90 degree spine to aid in both batoning and ferro rod strikes. SecureEx sheath actually fit the knife. Good retention. I will be making a leather sheath to house ferro rod and diamond stone. Can't wait to put it to work

I have owned my Cold Steel Outdoorsman since 1985, it has never failed me. It has skinned 3 Elk, and 12 Mule while I still hunted, and holds a edge very well. Proud to own it, Hats off to Lynn Sir.
