Cold Steel True Flight Thrower, Fixed Blade

I was a knife thrower for several years. I decided to pick it back up and I couldn’t recommend this knife enough. From the balanced blade to the hardened tip, I found it could endure the abuse of just getting back into the sport. Botched throws that would normally bend the tip of a knife didn’t even phase this model. I’m very pleased with it and will probably buy a whole set in the future.

I have gone through a gauntlet of different types and styles of throwing knives, when I first used the true flight I knew it was the right one. I ended up buying two more for myself and a couple more for each of my family members who like to throw. No problems with any of the knives and they were used in the Canadian Bush. They bounce off rocks and are good to go. Keep one on me in the woods and carry a couple in a custom made sheath for banging around the Canadian Shield. I have gotten very good in a short time for the price you can’t go wrong

Many years ago my son and his mom gifted me this wonderful tool and and I've carried it every day both in country and at home. This knife is an all-around dead useful everyday necessity. I've opened cans with it. Made meals with it I've used it as a window punch. I've made clothes lines with it !! And one time it kept me from falling off 120 ft cliff !! I'm the kind of guy that gets used to a knife the way some people get used to a gun, a car or a chair at home. I don't like to change knives. Recently, through an act of stupidity I lost my knife. All I could remember was something like cold roll and I plugged it in I rolled the dice and there you are and I'm going to buy two. Thank you so much

Durable and heavy enough to throw, baton, pry. Balanced to flip and toss. Sharp enough to cut. Steel is playable enough to sharpen with a river stone in the field. Not expensive enough that I'd start crying if I lose it somehow. This is my third purchase over ten years. ine in my car, pack, and (now) garage.

I throw these knives nearly every day. They hold up well.

I love throwing knives. I started about 15 years ago with this knife. Learning how to throw can be brutal to the knife you are using. It was excellent to start out learning with. The balance and weight of this piece makes for a beautiful throw. I have owned three of these knives. I have spent way too much on sets of throwing knives thinking that the higher the price would probably make them better quality and fun to throw. I still go back to my Cold Steel True Flight Thrower.

Got this to finish my set of three. Like to throw and now do not have to walk to the target as often.

Got this knife going to Iraq 2004 as it is a balanced sharp knife i.e. fighting knife but what sold me on it was someone showing me stateside that it could pry open a HUMVEE door jammed shut by an IED blast. He stood on it and it did what we hoped for. I was in 12x IED hits, but never had to use it for this. Before we left I did the standing test on a regular door & it did not bend or snap.

I've kept an eye on this knife for a long time, but once I saw Negan using it in Dead City, I recognized it immediately and had to have it. Cold Steel throwers make excellent survival knives.
