High-quality barrel and rear sight.
Things I would have changed:A CO2 pistol at this price point really should offer a much better trigger. The stock trigger is persistently gritty, with no predictable take-up to speak of. A poor trigger makes shooting tight groups difficult.

excellent sights, trigger is quite acceptable. accurate.
Things I would have changed:the centerline of the bolt appears to be slightly higher than that of the bore- the pellets tip to one side or the other and wont chamber as often as not.

BKL 2-Pc 3/8" or 11mm... will bridge the breexh. BKL 3/8" or 11mm Dovetail... is a 1 piece mount that allows access to the breech.

This is recommended for target shooting. Not hunting
Crossman charges less by $50....
Crosman charges less then $50.00 for what? I think you have this confused with the 2240 which is a co2 pistol.

Barrel is excellent. The Williams sights are outstanding. After-Market parts, modifications, online schematics, and tutorial support are practically limitless. This is a great gun if you like tinkering, taking things apart, and swapping out parts. Once you set this up to your tastes and change a few things, this is a really fun, reliably accurate pistol
Things I would have changed:I replaced the stock trigger sear with a good light two-stage sear. And the trigger. The break is heavy, sloppy and inconsistent out of the box. Once you change the trigger/sear, you can drop the trigger pull down a reliable and smooth 1+ or so pound pull. I also replaced the rear tube "power adjuster" with a solid metal cap. With a solid rear tube cap, you can use put your thumb on it for leverage to open and charge the bolt. Makes it easier to shoot, particularly from a chair. Looks better too. I changed the bolt, which was a bit short and slippery for me. I swapped the plastic grips, which are well-designed and comfortable, with some grips I made from Walnut.
What others should know:How loud is it? It sounds like a nail gun.
