They are fun to shoot. We have a target course in our back woods and our adult and kid neighbors love them.

What others should know:Develop a holder system other than the plastic provided in the other package. I used a four foot long 2x4 and routed a slit that just fit the discs. Holds multiple discs and much, much more durable.

I want to use this in real shotgun do they work well
Shotgun would vaporize these and the holder as well. They're not sporting clays.

Sure
Are these good for consumption? My dog and son eat everything they see.
I don't think they're toxic, as they're made primarily of chalk it seems. But, not a normal food intake, i'd think.
