This air rifle is powered by a Crosman Nitro piston powerplant for smoother cocking, better longevity due to the elimination of spring fatigue, the ability to leave it cocked for longer periods, and consistent operation even in lower temperatures. Easier break-barrel than other brands (such as hatsan) Like the 10 shot magazines
I kind of like the clip for shooting because you don't always have to load it. But I could see that you could lose it very easy!
Things I Would Have ChangedWhen you insert the clip you can't see how many pellets are left so would fix that.

I was looking to up my backyard pesting game with more power and accuracy without breaking the bank. This rifle and scope combo delivered and far, far exceeded my expectation! Great design, sound engineering and the 3-9 x 40 AO scope is really nice!! Crosman knocks it out with this one and Pyramyd made it happen! One very happy customer!!
Fit. Finish. Information provided from PyramydAir when asked. Now that I have a new Weapon and Magazine that all work together, I enjoy shooting this Pellet rifle. It shoots clusters of 1" right out of the box. Just installed the Scope and will be making those adjustments soon.
Things I Would Have ChangedWish that PA was also a factory service rep., not just a point of sales for this Weapon. Initially, had some major issues that ended up with the me contacting Crosman (remember 5 yr warranty) for the weapon to be returned and issue me another. Never able to determine if just the Mag was bad or Weapon also. CROSMAN stood behind their warranty and all is well with me now. Wish that extra Mags. were available in the USA for sale when the Weapon went on sale. Canada has them but won't sell here. When they do come on line for sale....buy, buy buy, get as many as your budget will allow as these are the single weakest point about this rifle.
What Others Should KnowStrong and lots of power. I got the Crosman sling and like it alot.
Not all pellets are created equal and if the magazine will not turn easily, then don't attempt to use that pellet.
H&N Copper pellets will NOT fit. Wadcutters work great. H&N hallow points work well. Crosman Domed pellets work well also.
Excellent feel and balance , come with a nice scope for the price point. Very accurate and easy to sight in.

Things I Would Have ChangedI would fix the magazine. Mine messed up before 1 full magazine. You can't load it with the magazine. I was very disappointed. I'm returning it as we speak. I ordered a single shot breakdown to replace it. Just can't take a chance on it happening again. Gun is basically useless without a magazine and you can't get the magazines right now.
What Others Should KnowIf you choose this rifle be very careful not lose or damage the magazine cause your dead in the water after that. Make sure to buy multi magazines to make sure you'll be able to fire the rifle for years .

Things I Would Have ChangedThe fact that the 10 shot pellet clip arrived non-functional. I called PA and they said they were not the Depot Repair for lower class air rifles, they were for PCP air rifles from Crossman. They told me to call Crossman as the primary warranty holder. Cross said they would send me another Clip......when I don't know. The website shows additional clips for purchase, but not yet available. I wish that the weapon had additional clips available from the start. As right now 24Dec20, I have yet to been able to fire the weapon. I have no idea from personal experience, just how well it will perform..... who know?
What Others Should KnowWork with Pyramyd Air to purchase weapons, they are fabulous with purchase support.
Only purchase the Crossman MAG Fire line if, when you do, the additional clips are available. The detent that lets the spring windup to rotate the pellets is what was defective. BUY SEVERAL with initial purchase or don't buy these weapons. The Clip is the weak spot so far as I know.

I received my gun and no scope.and was told over chat that pretty much pyramid wont do nothing about it.I would have to go through crosman.and everybody knows how long it takes any manufacture to do anything.so now Im Going to have to buy another scope until I can get ahold of crosman to get a scope.thanks pyramyd.
