The unique LASSO mount (Lever Action Simple Securing Optics mount) is a patented invention that allows millions of Red Ryders owners to finally be able to mount a scope on their BB rifle.
The legendary Red Ryder! Who hasn't wanted one of these? Daisy's 1938 Red Ryder model is still a favorite of boys and girls (and men and women). Suitable for shooters 10 and older (with adult supervision), this lever-action spring rifle is lightweight, easy to cock and durable. The solid wood forearm and engraved wood stock are just the right length for young shooters.
With a capacity of 650 BBs (Never shoot BBs at hard objects!), you & I will be shooting all day long! The rifle comes with a blade and ramp front sight and an adjustable open rear sight. It has a stamped metal receiver and synthetic cocking lever.
This rifle is perfect for plinking, shooting paper targets and for training new shooters. The Red Ryder is intended for shooting targets UP TO 5 meters away...about 16.5 feet. Safety glasses for the shooter and everyone else in the vicinity are necessary, as BBs can bounce back.

Wood stock and for end. Scope mounting rail works great.

What can be said about this iconic BB gun that hasn't already be said .So let me say I'm 70 and this Christmas I gifted my self and 4 other aging Boomers with Red Ryders.All opened them and reported out it was the best present they received for Christmas. They were out linen away at tin cans Christmas morning and have been played with them regularly. Many Grand kids have joined in the fun. If you can find a cheaper way to have more fun than with a Red Ryder BB gun. Let me know!

This is a very good rifle for its purpose, to teach a boy how to use it. It have the correct power to show a boy how to use it and the sights with out having to wory about a shoot to go some place far away that you maight not ha control. With this you can teach a boy how to use it an the responsabilities. Also the importance of being aware about the suranding areas, discipline and safety.
Nice little lightweight and easy cocking and operating BB gun. I bought this one in pink for my wife, she got interested in air guns too. But she has not that much strength to cook an break barrel yet. I have to look out more for one she can cook.

The lasso mount that came with this one is a new version and very easy and fast to install.
