Element Optics has burst onto the scene with a line of scopes that is positioned to give everything else on the market a run for its money! The Helix is a 6-24x 50 SFP (Second Focal Plane) scope with a combination of features unknown in its price range, such as stainless steel turret housings and a proper zero stop.
The stainless steel turret internals ensures long-term durability and precision when dialing, something that modern shooters demand, and the Platinum Lifetime Warranty gives you confidence that should anything go wrong with the scope you will be covered.
Designed by competitve shooter and Youtuber Matt Dubber, the APR-1C (All-Purpose Reticle) is a de-cluttered reticle with half and full MIL hash marks for holdovers that leaves you a clear and unobstructed view of your target. The turrets and reticle are both in MIL. The second focal plane reticle is calibrated at 24 power and allows you to adjust your holdover for both 12x and 6x magnifications with just a little bit of math.

Things I Would Have ChangedScope durability. Quality control.
What Others Should KnowFirst I should say I tried 2 of the SFP Helix scopes. The first one I got seemed great out of the box, crystal clear reticle. I mounted it on the rings. (I have always tightened my scope rings down very tight on all of my cheap scopes and never had a problem, I made sure not to tighten them too tight on this scope because I heard that could be bad for the scope.) After mounting I realized the focus became VERY hard to turn, it loosened up then stopped working. It was only clear at 30 yards. I tried zooming in when it was at the 30 yard mark and clear, and the zoom would make everything go out of focus. I returned it for a replacement. 2nd scope came. Focus wheel was much harder to turn. Turrets didn't click as positively as the first. On full magnification would not allow much light through. I decided to mount it anyways barely tightening the rings this time. And the focus wheel became way off. Anything past 200 yards was blurry! Save your money or buy a Hawke scope.
Everything this scope very clear, gathers good light at dawn and dusk. The dials work like they should. Was not expecting this quality at this price. Great scope!

This is a quality scope top to bottom. The turrets are the best your find on a scope at this price is no lie. They are crisp, solid and return to zero is perfect. The glass is better than any Hawke scope I have in this price range, and is close to a Leupold 6HD on my Wilson Protector. Crystal clear at all magnifications. Just awesome. I love the SSF reticle with the center dot for target shooting with the HW97KT that it is mounted on. Very happy that is springer rated with a life time warranty. AO focus down to 10 yards is plus. Perfect scope for what I use it for.

What Others Should KnowThis scope is a steal for what you get. Read the manual and do not torque your scope mounts more than 15 to 18 ft/lb.
This scope is better than any Leupold scope I've ever owned it holds the bulletin bullet group you can't get no better than that

This scope has great glass a really nice reticle. Matt, you did a good job! The tracking on the turrets works great and the return to zero is right on the money. I did have a problem with the side focus on one of my Helix scopes but Pyramyd air took care of me no questions asked, thanks P.A. All in all it’s a good product and I have to recommend it to others
