Description
The Athlon Optics Midas HMR HD 2.5-15X50 AHMR SFP MOA Riflescope is a great option for any serious hunter. It is a durable, shockproof, and waterproof riflescope that’s built out of a one-piece 30mm aircraft-grade aluminum main tube. Argon purged for enhanced fog prevention, this optic is optimized to work in any field scenario.
Transmitting plenty of light is a 50mm fully multi-coated objective lens with HD glass. To help the hunter make accurate shots at any distance is an illuminated, etched glass reticle with a 2 MOA center cross and hash marks. Powering the illumination is a single CR2032 lithium button battery.
The Athlon Midas HMR HD 2.5-15X50 AHMR Second Focal Plane MOA Riflescope is windage and elevation adjustable via the exposed, capped turrets. The turrets have a tactile and audible click to ensure accuracy. Elevation and windage are both adjustable up to 60 MOA, with a click value of ¼ MOA.
As with all Athlon’s scopes, it comes with their Gold Medal Lifetime Warranty so you can buy with confidence, knowing that it’ll last. And, even if something does happen to it, with the best warranty in the industry, it’ll be covered. Buy your Athlon Midas HMR HD 2.5X15X50 AHMR SFP MOA Riflescope from Pyramyd Air, today.

10 of 18 Athlon Optics 2.5-15x50 Midas HMR Reviews

I really like this scope, I have a few and just ordered another one, the power range is great for hunting but because of the Low Power clarity, I like this scope for AR's.

Good clarity. The eye box can be a little challenging. If you change your position it takes a little effort to get lined up. Illumination is good and is needed for shooting at a dark target. I would buy it again just maybe a different reticle. I would say this scope isn't for a novice shooter. It works well, just not very forgiving.

The Midas HMR is in my opinion one of the best riflescopes for hunting whitetail in the woods of southwestern Pennsylvania that I have ever owned. It gives the ability to power down to 2.5x for fast target Aquisition in the woods and gives the ability to zoom to 15x for those occasional long shoots. All in all, this is a great product for any hunter I would rate it on par with other scopes at a much higher price point

Purchased this to put on a predator rig looking for something good but didn't expect for the price for this scope to be this clear would definitely recommend for someone looking for a scope to take into the field

The glass is sharp and clear. It has great light transmission and is easy to dial into focus. The zoom is firm but easy to manipulate. Thus far the turrets track accurately and are easy to dial in and reset the zero for easy return. They have a nice positive click feel that inspires confidence when adjusting. I wish the illuminated reticle would auto shutoff after inactivity as I've killed two batteries accidentally leaving it on. The switch to turn illumination on/off oscillates between on and off between each increment that increases the brightness. This makes you have to look at/through the scope and verify it is off, you can't just turn the illumination knob all the way to zero and know it is off. It is different and I will get used to it or I will stop putting batteries it it all together! The reticle is almost too fine. Under certain lighting conditions, it is sometimes difficult to see the reticle (especially if the illumination is off due to a dead battery!). This is getting pretty nit picky as I actually purchased this scope due to the fine reticle. I prefer a fine simple reticle over a big complicated reticle when hunting. I don't need anything cluttering up the glass when in the heat of the moment. This reticle is a good balance of simple/uncluttered but has enough info to make hold over/windage adjustments on the fly. All in all a great value for a premium scope and would recommend it for hunters needing new glass.

I currently have this optic mounted on an 18" AR chambered in 223 wylde. I didn't want to fork over thousands for an optic on a gun that was just going to be a range toy. This scope gives me clear glass and similar accuracy to much higher priced optics without sacrificing quality. Athlons Midas line offers a nicely built product without the hefty price tag.

Turetts are crisp, and the glass is excellent for the price.

Have only take to range 1 time so far. The only knock I have so far is the zoom ring is pretty tight and tough to turn. Maybe it will loosen up a bit with time. Very pleased with optical quality.

This scope is clear and the reticle is awesome for quick target acquisition. Light weight but still able to see clearly at long ranges makes it a great scope for hunting.

Athlon scopes are exceptional scopes. I have 2 of the Midas HMR’s, one BDC 600 and one AHMR MOA and couldn’t be happier. The glass rivals far more expensive scopes. The 2.5 x 15 is a great power range for hunting. A little heavy, but well worth it.
