Description
Your Hatsan 135 with a Vortex gas-piston powerplant delivers reliable power in all weather because it doesn't have a metal mainspring that requires grease. The grease on a coiled metal mainspring thickens and hardens in cold weather, preventing it from delivering maximum velocity and energy.
Besides the great powerplant, the Quattro trigger will also help you get maximum accuracy from your breakbarrel air rifle. Triggers with heavy pulls or unpredictable let-offs result in poor results downrange.
When you get your Hatsan 135, you'll want to customize it with the Triopad spacers that let you adapt the pull length to your personal shooting needs.

- Smoother shooting
- No spring torque
- No spring fatigue, even if you leave it cocked for hours
- Functions perfectly in cold weather
- Lasts longer than a metal spring

Heavy therefore does not shake much. After I figured out how to actually hold it, every shot 24 to be precise was placed in a dime sized hole at a measured 38 yards. The gun is well made barrel has no droop, and it hard hitting.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing!
Very powerful and really knows how to throw heavy 21 to 25 green pellets down range. Overall looks very nice also but then we go to the negative stuff.
Things I Would Have ChangedGoing to ride with the front sight turned 45 degrees to the left making the fiber optic sights a waste of time. This has the worst bluing of any kind I've ever owned in my entire life you can almost see it into the shiny metal and in some spots actually you did not see any Bluing at all! I had several issues with accuracy that apparently were caused by the three Scopes that I broke and wasted $45 in pellets. The length of the stock is so long that I can't really get my eye by the scope and work things properly so I think I'm going to have to cut this stock went down in order to do that and add a sling so that I can carry this more comfortably in the woods.
What Others Should KnowDon't bother using very lightweight pellets, use jsb 18 grain and even shooting the 25 or 26 grain monsters quite well in .22 cal.
H&n match grade pellets work out well at 21 Grains too.
I like the weight, quality and shoot hard.
Things I Would Have ChangedAdd a scope as part of the package
What Others Should KnowThe young lady that helped me was great.
Solid,Accurate,Impact, just like the box says.FPS & FPE are as advertised. Stocks are beautiful, all 3 of my stocks are a diff shade but beautiful. My .22 is really dark,my .25 is a little lighter. My 155 in .25 is much lighter. There hand oil rubbed so youll need to wax them to make them shiny. The bluing is nice. Triggers are sweet, musch nicer than 125 or 150 trigger. Only adjusted the .22 just to see the diff. Pellet friendly just diff POI'. My.22 like PolyMag,JSB 15.8 & H&N Sniper Mag 18g w/ same POI. It likes the heavy 26g & 28g Skenco, which are great on Coons & possums in my barn, also quieter & dont spook my Horses. 15.8JSB are loud. The .25 likes A&A,JSB25g 33g, PolyMags & all the H&N Cudas. Both have 100 yrd accuracy. Really tear up 75yrd targets. I shoot off a bench mostly at long range. I can be accurate standing w/ no support up to 40-50yrds pending on how im shooting that day. Ive made many outstanding 75yrd shots. Vortex makes all the diff in ease of shooting accurately.
What Others Should KnowI have two a .25 & a .22, both make the same FPE at the muzzle or 100yrds.Just a matter of trajectory.I also own a 155 in .25, my fav. 135 is lighter, more cocking effort. My 155 is the most accurate & most pellet friendly.I think it must be the weight diff. All 3 have the exact same power plant & same size transferport hole.At least in .22 & .25.I have to put a drop of silicone chamber oil in the compression chamber every 1000 shots w/ the .22, never w/ the .25' (6000+ shots on 155) 2500+ on .22,4000+on the 135 .25. Got PeepSites on all 3. 135' required the low profile Peeps, cause the front bead is lower than 155,smaller too great w/ .125 Diopter.155 front bead is so big i removed the orange fiber part & use the front like a ghostring, super accurate.Easily put back in. Turkey, Coon, Possum stopping power. Wood stocks are more accurate, ive owned a 125 & 150 also.Gold triggers are much nicer also. Vortex power plant,Wooden Stock is deff worth the Xtra $
power n accuracy. great magun airgun for the money folks buy one you wont having any regrets
Things I Would Have Changedadded a ao scope in as a combo
What Others Should Knowpwerhouse n accurate even with open sites. this is a beast in 25 cal. im get 775 fps avg with jbs exact 25.39 grains ammo. its excceeded.... man stated power.......... buy one. i did and plan on buying another one.....
It's a beautiful gun and it really does what you expect and then some considering that it's a pellet gun that can actually shoot all the way out to 100 yards. I'm practicing with different heavier pellets and things just get better and better as I go.
Things I Would Have ChangedI thought the Bluing should have been a little deeper. The front site was canted left a few degrees so the rear windage had to to be four full lines to the left to compensate.
What Others Should KnowEat your Wheaties this thing's a tank
Solid, nice weight, beautiful stock. It's a beast that needs to reckoned with. Performs great, haven't changed a thing. Impressed with quality steel. Keep it up, Hatsan
Things I Would Have ChangedThumb safety is kinda wobbly, would prefer the safety that's on my 95,not a deal breaker. Upgrade scope eventually to something more robust.
What Others Should KnowNot for the weak or timid. Gives you a good upper body workout, you know you're handling something that means business with this rifle. Wish I would've found Hatsan before I bought my first Gamo. Night and day difference
Very powerful, and very accurate (once you learn its quirks). The Quattro Trigger is good out of the box, and adjustable to taste. This was my first .22 air rifle, but the incredible power of this gun makes it shoot more like a .177 (flatter trajectory vs parabolic trajectory common to .22s). The open sights on this are a bit smaller than my other Hatsan (a 155 Vortex), and the front post has a three-pronged arrangement, kind of like a crown. Makes targeting with open sights very easy and accurate. The included scope stop actually screws in to tapped holes in the rail, so anything mounted next to it will not move. Like many Hatsans (in my experience only), it's pretty pellet-friendly.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe break barrel mechanism is not excessively heavy, but it does feel a little gritty to me. It's still new, so that may change. Closing the breech takes a good "Snap", but hopefully that means it locks in pretty solid.
What Others Should KnowDue to the incredible recoil of this rifle (similar in force to a .22 LR rifle, plus the "double recoil" common to springers), I elected to not bother to mount a scope. I did add a Williams micrometer peep sight, then removed the rear fiber optic sight and the fiber optic rod from the front post to use as a ghost ring. It's doing dime-size 30 yard groups with Crosman Premier domes, and it's hardly had 50 shots through it. I can't wait to take it hunting. If you're looking for a good magnum springer, you would have to pay much more to beat this. PA's shipping (as always) was speedy and well-packed.
I like the power and accuracy of this rifle in .25 cal. It is very nice looking gun and I get 1" groups at 35 yards. It is right up there with the German made guns as far as performance, and It will not leave you broke.
Things I Would Have ChangedI would like to see it in their quiet energy model, and lighten up the weight a little. The stock looks nice but wished they had made the checkering alot nicer.
What Others Should KnowMy rifle seems to like the JSB Exact King in 25.39 grain .25 cal . The gun is heavy on weight and cocking but not a deal breaker makes up for it with accuracy and power.

Lots of power.
Things I Would Have ChangedMount the front sight vertical... Not canted left 4 or 5 degrees! I guess I might as well put a scope on it.
What Others Should KnowMake sure you buy a scope designed for high-powered air guns because it broke three scopes.
I'm not sure what to do now because the trigger broke off and gas ram lost pressure.
