Questions?Description
Ask any serious airgunner to name some of the finest airgun makers in the industry and Rapid Air Worx (RAW) is more than likely going to be in the mix. And now, thanks to a partnership with AirForce Airguns - another high-quality, U.S. airgun manufacturer - one of RAW’s most sought-after pre-charged pneumatic air rifle designs is available without customers having to wait weeks or even months to get their hands on one of these beauties.
Handmade in America, the widely acclaimed RAW HM1000x LRT (Long Range Target) pre-charged pneumatic air rifle achieves the kind of precision, reliability and consistency that have come to characterize the iconic RAW name.
The HM1000x’s factory high-power tune delivers muzzle energies of up to 50 foot-pounds (in .22, using JSB 25.39-grain pellets), 60 foot-pounds (in .25, using JSB King Heavy 33.95-grain pellets) and 75 foot-pounds (in .30, using JSB 44.75 grain pellets). Its fully regulated PCP power plant ensures consistent performance from the first shot to the last and the 480cc carbon fiber bottle packs enough capacity to put up to 50 rounds downrange per fill.
The LRT features an adjustable, match-grade target trigger with an added safety catch. RAW also had the good sense to employ a two piece moderator design that allows the user to choose between a shorter and louder rifle, or a slightly longer but more stealthy configuration.
The RAW HM1000x LRT delivers elegant form along with precise function by integrating all this industry-leading hardware into a richly appointed, black laminate stock. An adjustable cheek rest and rubber butt pad allow for a truly custom shooting experience. The stock is checkered and the forend features five M-Lok slots for attaching accessories like bipods and Q.D. attachments. As an added bonus, the forestock’s underside is flat to provide bench shooters with an ultra-stable point of contact.
Each RAW HM1000x LRT is hand built and individually tested before leaving the factory and is billed by RAW as “the most accurate pre-charged pneumatic air rifle made in the USA... capable of sub 1-inch groups out to 100 yards.” It’s designed for everyone from serious plinkers and hunters to field target and benchrest competitors demanding the highest levels of performance from their air rifles.
The RAW HM1000x LRT PCP air rifle carries on RAW’s legendary legacy and USA-made heritage. It delivers the accuracy, consistency and precision serious shooters demand and is now more accessible than ever.

8 of 8 RAW Rapid Air Worx HM1000x LRT Black Reviews
The accuracy and trigger make this an outstanding rifle. The stock is beautiful and sturdy. Great bench shooter. I like stacking 30 cal pellets at 50 yds. (JSB 44.75)
Things I Would Have ChangedThe one thing that I would change is not about the rifle but the plain cardboard box it comes in. Alot of companies ship their high end rifles in their own hard case. Why can't RAW do the same. They advertise to be one of Americans top Companies?
What Others Should KnowI was fortunate to be able to try both the RAW and Fx sniper impact. The FX compared to the RAW was quieter, lighter, better shot count ,more tunable and came in its own case. The RAW had a better trigger and accuracy out of the box. For me I like the RAW better, it seems like a simpler gun to maintain.
Made in America, the accuracy, the excellent build quality.
Things I Would Have ChangedI received this 2199. dollar rifle in a generic box. FX gives you a case to protect your rifle. If we're RAW I would do the same. I was told that this is one of America's top of the line guns and it comes in a plain paper box? I would also improve on the instruction booklet which is very generic. Zero info on any kind of adjustments you can make to tune your rifle.
What Others Should KnowI turned in a leaky FX IMPACT SNIPER 30 cal. For this rifle and I am very pleased with this rifle. Build quality is excellent so far. I liked the FX IMPACT because it is quieter and has a larger bottle for more shots but because it leaks I didn't want to deal with repairs. (Can't shoot a broken gun) The RAW had equal or better accuracy . The FX stock was kinda cheap looking without any adjustments. The RAW is adjustable. The FX is better for hunting because of the weight and length but I usually bench shoot and the weight is not a problem for me. It seems like it should have enough power to take down the mountain Pigs that damage my garden.
Everything I expected and more. Winter came to West Virginia as I received the air rifle so I don't have the experience to truly review the 1,000 X. Having said that, after mounting a quality scope, zeroing with 3 pellets under poor conditions, shooting 50 more pellets off hand at 50 yards and recharging the air, I can tell you this is one great air rifle. I anticipate very tight groups from a shooting bench. The feel of the gun is very nice with a smooth side cocking lever. I mounted a scope and a bipod with ease. I needed a picatinny adapter for the bipod and Pyramyd Air customer service helped me get what I needed. I had heard that the noise level was high but mine is very quiet. The .22 pellet hitting cardboard 50 yards away was louder than the noise produced at the gun. I don't like the trigger, I love it. So far I am more than pleased with this purchase. The packaging was good as well.
Things I Would Have ChangedWithout having had the opportunity to really put this gun to the test, I don't have any significant changes to recommend. I'm a sucker for beautiful stocks and would have probably bought a nice walnut or curly maple stock if the option were available. I'm ok with the laminated stock and, honestly, it is probably stronger, cheaper and more reliable. I would have also been receptive to a "premium" option that included an extra magazine and picatinny adaptor.
What Others Should KnowThis is a heavy gun. I have the laminated stock which is very nice but the composite stock is an option to reduce some weight. I hunt but I'm not sure I will be hunting a lot with the RAW 1000 X. I will give it a try hunting and if it is not practical I still have a great gun. I'm sure this will be an excellent ratting gun but not sure about squirrel hunting in the woods. I have three other air rifles like the Benjamin Marauder that may be more practical for hunting, carrying in my side by side / pick-up truck, pest control around my farm and garden. My advice is to buy this gun now and put quality optics on it. You will not be disappointed. If you are new to air guns, this seems to be the top of the line. I have shot / hunted with .22 rimfires and large caliber center fire all my life and recently got into air guns. The experience has been great for me and no more worries about ammo availability or expense. I am not an expert but experienced enough to say take the plunge.
Its made in the USA. Great trigger. Mine is at 6 ounces.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing
What Others Should KnowThis is a bucket list air rifle for me. I was looking Daystate, a dream from my youth, when an internet search brought RAW onto my radar. After a lot of research,(thank goodness for the internet), I purchased the RAW. The RAW folks are great and Pyramyd Air is absolutely TOP notch to deal with.
This rifle comes ready to go you don't need to mess with anything it's as powerful as my FX Impact that has been professionally tuned and just as accurate if not more so.
Things I Would Have ChangedOnly thing I would do is have the moderator moved forward a bit so I can fit a 580cc carbon bottle. It might fit but I think it would be close.
What Others Should KnowThe Impact is a great gun but you have to like to tinker. This gun comes full power no tinkering needed.
accuracy, looks, and the fact that it's a raw quality backed by raw.
Things I Would Have Changednothing
What Others Should KnowIt's the only gun you can buy with confidence you won't have issues .
First I have to say this is the most beautiful Airgun that I have the privilege to own. This gun has by far the best trigger I have seen yet on a Airgun. It has a wide enough magazine to hold long slugs. It also has fantastic power shooting 25.39gn pellets at 952 fps witch is about 50 foot pounds as advertised.Fit and finish is also great and better then most.It is relatively quiet for such a powerful Airgun and its accurate as well. Cant say enough great things about this Airgun. Its worth every bit of money paid.
Things I Would Have ChangedDont really care for the m- lock system other than that would not Chang a thing.
What Others Should KnowIf you can afford this unit definitely get as you will not be sorry

Extremely nice gun. Accurate (Not extremely accurate, but accurate) I love the wood, I love the moderator. I really can't say enough about it. My next gun will be a RAW in 25 cal.
Things I Would Have ChangedMine is not quite as accurate as most. What a LOT of folks do not know, is this gun is available in .357 I chose 357 so that I could cast my own bullets to shoot by melting down my spent pellets from my other guns. The speed of the JSB pellets that weight in the 82 grain area do not fly as fast. I get about 25 regulated shots per fill, but my accuracy is about 3/4 inch to 1 inch at 40 yards. If I use a FX Slug that weighs about 63 grains or so, my accuracy goes SUB MOA, but I also have more speed. I think the gun needs a little more speed for the JSB pellets to be a little more accurate at the .357 arena, or maybe a little more twist to help out the pellet. The gun is HEAVY!...Forget about lugging it around in a hunting field. I would love to take it hunting, but it has no sling attachments. The gun with a scope is well over 10 pounds.
What Others Should KnowThis gun is also available in 357 cal.
It is very quiet for what you get.
The Magazine is a left handed magazine (insert it from the left side of the gun, instead of the right side like the Mrod). This takes some getting use to.
Heavy is the word. This gun is heavy.
Trigger???? The absolute best trigger I have ever felt in my life.... Some folks may not like it that touchy. It has a two stange trigger, but that 2nd stage is barely noticeable....It is adjustable.
It comes in 357.
the FX Slugs are unbelievable through the gun....sub MOA.
It does NOT need a barrel clamp. The barrel is very solid.
There are very few pellet manufacturers for 357 cal. Keep this in mind.
The barrel is made for .356 diameter pellets, NOT 357. The Manufacturer says 356! Be careful! A 355 # 356, a 356 # 357, a 357 # 38 or 380 abide by the manufacturer!
