The Schofield No. 3 Aged CO2 BB Revolver with 5" barrel adds a vintage-look finish to the airgun that brings to mind the Old West because of the fact that it's based on the famed US Army cavalry revolver. It is built for hours of fun whether practicing or plinking and reaches velocities up to 400 FPS.
Powered by a single CO2 cartridge and constructed with a full-metal frame, it uses the same top-break design as its firearm counterpart. The airgun shoots BBs using a 6-shot cylinder loaded with metal BB cartridges to provide operation very similar to the genuine original version of the gun.
The No. 3 was designed with details that make it closely resemble the real steel version, including weight and a solid feel in the hand, and a familiar shape that will take a close examination to figure out if it's a real firearm or not.
For added precision, this CO2 revolver uses a fixed rear notch sight and a fixed front blade sight. To shoot the airgun, simply cock the hammer and use the light single-action trigger for an old-fashioned experience. Weight, feel, function and a strong resemblance to my Uberti .45 Long Colt 5" Schofield Firearm.
Things I would have changed:Remove the white, safety text printed on the bottom of the barrel. I had to use a black marking pen to make the lettering less distracting.
What others should know:This airgun also works very well with Webley Pellet Cartridges and lighter alloy pellets.

Will this model accept the pellet cartridges ?
I recently ordered the Schofield No.3 Aged CO2 BB Revolver with 7" Barrel and associated .177 Pellet Cartridges. As denoted Per Specs & via Chronograph as stated by purchaser reviews clocks out at 445 FPS. 1. I would assume, considering the only apparent difference a 2" shorter Barrel, this model is capable of loading/Firing both BB & Pellet Cartridges as well? 2. Assuming prior question is correct, this 5" Barrel length model denotes 400 FPS per stated Specs. Does the 2" differential of the Barrel truly cause a -45 penalty to the FPS? Or is there another cause and effect behind the -45 difference? 3. Forgive me if the following deems as petty, but as prior stated I ordered the 7" Barrel model, for $109.95 + tax. The Nickel plated model runs $119.95(Dual ammo bundle $129.95). So the 5" Barrel model starts off with a -45 hit to the FPS, and though not stated at time of posting in Specs nor reviews confirming, shall suffer penalties to Range and Accuracy distance resulting from the 2" shorter Barrel. So shouldn't this 5" Barrel model, be cheaper by about $10?

Things I would have changed:Bundles on all the western guns with extra shells, bb's, CO2 etc. would be awesome!
What others should know:Extra shells are a must, I was sad to see they were out of stock. I am on the notification list when they come in, as 12 extra shells will look good in a western belt.
