SIG Sauer P229 Blowback CO2 Air Pistol

Time will tell-may be quality as good as my Walther CP88! Impressive accuracy, easy CO2 loading, 80 strong shots (5 mags) (which is what I get with the CP88 without blowback) you will want extra mags, Have handled the real gun-near impossible to tell difference cosmetically or weight! Blowback is NICE! Always happy with Pyramid customer service!

Metal mags would be nice

Careful loading the mags, they also fly out when ejected - catch them or they could be damaged.

I was disappointed that there were no instructions included with the item. Yes, the instructions are available on-line but I could tell from the packaging that originally instructions were included.

Weight is just like the real thing... fells good in my hand... shoots with co2 and is accurate.

Magazine's are cheap and prone to damage. Changing cartridges is an absolute pain...

Overall, it's a love hate thing. My boy and myself love shooting it. Very accurate within it's reasonable limits. However here is the hate... The magazine's are very cheap and will break, boy already accomplished that within minutes. To which Sig sent new mags out with no hassle in a two pack. They should absolutely include two anyways but they don't. The C02 design is neat but it needs redesigned. Changing a spent cartridge is a royal pain, especially with an impatient six year old who just wants to shoot. Once you manage to perfect the process it's still aggravating but not a deal breaker. Overall it's a nice piece and seems very well built. I wouldn't run BB's personally, pellets only and you'll have a smile until you have to change that darn cartridge. Fun, accurate and just a neat alternative to shooting metallic cartridges which is why airguns are so practical with ammo prices. Would recommend it despite the cheap mags and the hassle with unloading the spent C02 cartridge.

Being a retired LE and growing up on a rural ranch, I put on a pistol when I put on my pants in the morning. A n on duty assault eventually took most of my eye sight so for the last decade an iron sighted handgun was worthless to me. When realizing I could put a reflex sight on this handgun, it was a great incentive. And it all worked, I can shoot once again. The co2 loading design is great.

Perhaps offer a P229 with the option to use the Sig belt fed design magazine. Include the rear sight replacement for the installation of the Sig Air reflex sight.

Some have had trouble with the magazine, however mine worked very well with Crosman pellets, but then it is a 8 shooter with the existing magazine. Yes some of the P229 controls are for looks only but really this is a $129.00 pellet gun. I had trouble removing the co2 cartridge’s, turning the gun upside down and shaking the gun allows the empty cartridge to fall out. With the design of the cartridge loading you could reload the cartridge easily. The barrel threads are not compatible with most legal Airgun silencers, although Airgun Capital does make an adapter that will fix that, but this pistol shooting at 380 fps with co2 does not need one it is quiet. It is accurate at co2 pistol distances and has never jammed.

Feels heavy just like my p226 9 mm cant say enough about how it feels in my hand! I loads easy and I bought more loading cartridges just to be sure when I get ready t shoot I have plenty of ammo!

The CO2 cartridge is difficult to remove when empty.

Exellent Co2 pellet/BB pistol. I bought one from Pyramyd and was so impressed I bought two more for my grandsons. The realistic weight, balance, size and operation has trained them to adequately operate my authentic 226 with my supervision of course. Has good power and accuracy.

It’s everything I need and expect for a fun to shoot backyard plinker when I get the urge to shoot a few rounds and don’t have time to walk to my range down in the pasture.
