Hard to find anything wrong with my purchase. Very good knife.
Sog really outdid themselves, customizable to the bone, a strong tip and more. I want to point out this is a professional tool, it's not designed to cut paper, I assure you it will cut an oppponent. It's a matter of density of materials, flesh is easier to cut than most materials. Plus, this is a stabbing weapon, it will do it's job, slashing and thrusting, just don't try to cut paper with it, it is designed for another purpose.
This really impressed me. The quality of the knife and materials. Really like how your going ambidextrous on the sheaths. The weight and the feel of the knife is spot on. Glad that there is a company that makes a double edge knife still. Sick and tired of these other companies too afraid to make a double edge blade, I always had to grind the other side of their blade. Oh yea the blade comes very sharp out of the box, that put a big smile on my nasty face.
Strong dagger type knife built with quality materials
It’s a great knife with a great sheath. Super tough and strong, even well balanced. Sheath and mounting are easy and solid. Point of the knife was moderately sharp, but the edges couldn’t even cut paper… I was expecting a little more from SOG, when they proclaimed it excelled in slashing and thrusting. It’s a very near perfect knife in my opinion, except the edges of the knife are extremely dull. If the sides could catch a thumbnail or curl paper it would be the best knife I’ve ever owned, but since it’s basically a big glorified poker… I give it a 5.5/10. If SOG can figure a way to sharpen the sides and make them “slicey” like advertised I’ll take back my review, until that geometry is figured out… to actually make it combat worthy… my review stands.

The quality is top notch and the CPM S35VN is heat treated to perfection. I carry three of these knives, one for hard use and two for throwing.
Great knife. Just about every aspect is quality except for the finish that is easily rubbing off the exposed metal on the tang as well as hand guard/bolster area.
