Things I liked: Excellent look and feel. Positive adjustments. Clear and bright glass. Love the reticle. Precision reticle really allows me to zero in on my target. Side mounted AO is accurate and easy to turn with just enough resistance to hold in place shot after shot. Great for field target.

Things I would have changed: Wish there was a wheel for the side AO. I think the illuminated reticle is unnecessary, but it's there for those who want it.

What others should know: This is an incredible scope for the money. I mounted it on my HW 98 and was shooting 5/16" to 3/8" groups at 25 yards the first time out (once I had sighted in the scope). I was shooting off shooting sticks. Reticle is a huge help to my aging eyes. I could do without the illuminated reticle (will probably never use it).

Things I liked: Mil hash reticle with mil turrets. Good magnification range. Decent glass. Reticle is accurate at 18x.

Things I would have changed: Not that it's bad, but a slightly more forgiving eye box at 24x would be nice. Eye box is comforable in most lighting conditions at 20-22x.

What others should know: Nice budget scope. I have two.

Things I liked: Great clarity. Good price. All I expected.

Things I would have changed: Nothing

What others should know: 24 power is a bit much for a air gun.

  • Donald from USA asked:

    Will this scope survive a ASP 20 .22 cal (23 ft/lb)

    • Mark from USA:

It should. it is fully rated and warrantied.

  • Mike from USA asked:

I just purchased this scope to mount on my 12ft lb Pro Sport and Love it! I want to purchase a second one for my Diana 54 .22 and wanted to verify that this scope could handle the recoil. Thanks in advance,Mike.

    • Tyler from USA:

The 54 has the ability to break just about any scope you mount to it. Even if it does break though, Athlon's warranty will cover it...so no worries there.

What type of scope base is on your gun? What type of mount do you need? Weaver, Picatinny, 3/8″ or 11mm? Do you need 2-pc mounts or a 1-pc mount? 30mm or 1″? Scope mounts intro (Airgun Academy class)
