*If you don't use the illumination, the reticle will be black.

Do you hunt? If so, this robust scope is designed with your needs in mind. From the emerald coating on the lens to the illumination options, this scope really delivers the goods in the field. There's nothing more frustrating than seeing your target and not being able to see where your reticle is placed. In dim or bright light, all you have to do is adjust the brightness of the reticle and change its color, if needed, and you're ready to take your shot.

Leapers UTG True Strength scopes have a well-earned reputation for standing up to all kinds of recoil handed out by the harsh two-way recoil of magnum spring-piston rifles. While other scopes curl up and die when that piston slams in both directions, your UTG Hunter scope will just keep on plugging away.

If you don't want to put your family's budget on life support just to get a high-quality scope, then this is an ideal match for you. You will not regret your purchase!

Things I liked: replaced the centerpoint scope included with my benjamin mayhem ,22 cal np2 sbd because the wire reticle was too thick and it bothered me. this new leapers is dynamite. now i can see quite clearly. mil dots are great for me.

Things I would have changed: don't need the illumination aspect.

What others should know: good scope for the price. will see how it holds up to my break barrel. so far so good.

Things I liked: The reticle is useful and easy to acquire and the turret knobs are of decent quality.

Things I would have changed: Knowing what I know now I'd probably opt for a side focus knob

What others should know: This scope was nice and worked well until I changed yardage. I ran a small test, 5 shot group at 20 yards on a quarter, adjusted the focal distance and then brought it back to the 20 yard position. The POI shifted a good 2 inches at 20 yards, not theoretically, ACTUAL poi moved. So don't expect to take this scope hunting, or to any sort of field target range. Unless you only shoot at 1 distance and will not ever change that distance, go with something else

Things I liked: This the fourth one of these I have bought. Good quality, sharp image to the edges of the viewing area of the scope. I especially like the 5 yard focusing distance of the A/O.

Things I would have changed: Better instructions on how to get the various colors of the cross hairs.

  • Joseph from USA asked:

Will this scope fit on and hold up to the Hatsan 135 Vortex QE? If so will the ring that come with the scope work?

    • Tyler from USA:

Yes, I wouldn't recommend using the weaver rail on the hatsan rifles as they are not standard

  • Joseph from USA asked:

Would this fit on a Hatsan 125 Sniper?

    • Tyler from USA:

Yes, you can use the rings that come with the rifle

  • Donald from USA asked:

Hi, when using this scope with sunshade made for this scope, how do I keep the sunshade attached? There is no end ring to remove so my sunshade comes loose when re-focusing. My guess would be set to infinity and use blue Loctite?? Any help appreciated!

    • Tyler from USA:

I wouldn't recommend loctiting the sunshade on. When you make parallax adjustments, just don't grab the sunshade to do it, use the actual adjustment bell.
