With over a century in airgun experience, Diana knows exactly what airgunners want most in a PCP air pistol—streamlined features and affordability.

The Diana Bandit is destined for greatness as a backyard friendly PCP plinker. Based on the action of their hit PCP—the Diana Stormrider, the Bandit takes a similar approach to repeating shot action with indexing magazines cycled by smooth operating bolt-action. With 7 shots in .22 and 9 in .177, shooters are sure to enjoy more trigger time with less reloading than most air pistols. Fueled by a 50cc onboard tank, the Bandit makes for a low overhead entry into PCP guns and can easily be filled with a handpump.

The Bandit offers shooters flexibility in their shooting sessions starting with the sights. Each pistol features traditional open sights with fully-adjustable rear sights for shooting straight out of the box. However, if you prefer to mount some optics, remove the rear sight to expose the 11mm dovetail rail. Likewise, the Diana Improved Trigger (DIT) allows the shooter to customize the take-up on the 2-stage trigger for a personalized trigger pull. When you start shooting, you can expect quiet shots from a long fixed-moderator.

If you’re looking for hours of backyard shooting fun knocking down cans or peppering paper targets, make the Diana Bandit PCP yours!

Things I liked: First, probably the good price. Like that it's a PCP. Doesn'tt take but about 43 pumps to refill it up. Not to hard for an old man.

Things I would have changed: The grip of the stock being large. Which I did change! I took a Dremal to it. Wish I could put a picture in here of it??

What others should know: This is my first PCP. Caution if you take off the barrel diffuser. Mine got a little loose, so I thought I'd take it off to look inside. will all come unravelling on ya!

Things I liked: I actually find the large grip comfortable and stable, since my hands are on the larger side. Filling the cylinder is very easy, though the probe will center itself when the air begins to flow, and though at first I thought it was going to come flying out of the fill port, it doesn't happen. Sights are quite good, trigger not bad but has adjustments for first and second stages. Was able to get it adjusted easily, but a bit stiffer than it could be. Very nice fit and finish, and the gun is fairly quiet.

Things I would have changed: Still struggling with the rotary mag. The reason I bought this gun was to have a repeater for target shooting, and the first few times I tried the mag, it jammed and I had to remove the barrel to clear the jam. It simply does not work smoothly, even when I do get it to work. I will eventually figure out which pellets work best with the mag, but have mostly been using the included single shot tray. As I work with different pellets, I might do an update regarding the mag, when I find the one that works best

What others should know: Remember to clean the barrel before trying to shoot this gun (or any gun, for that matter.) It took about a dozen patches before they came out clean. I had to put a longer screw in the elevation adjustment, as I couldn't get it sighted in with the original one. Simple enough, but the adjustment screw could have been just a bit longer. The bolt handle is a nice unit with rubber O-rings, but it's fairly long (and tends to put torque on the bold), so I tend to pull it from right where it inserts into the bolt, and I tend to close it by pushing the end of the bolt rather than the handle. The page for the gun shows a single shot tray sold separately, but mine came with one, so I didn't have to go back and order one. So far, the RWS R-10 Match wadcutters have given me the best results, and I've had decent results with H&N Match Green as well.

  • Delbert from USA asked:

Just wondering why the bolt on the .177 moves with each shot while the .22 does not move. I love my .177 Bandit, but it moves just like the one in the video does.

    • Tyler from USA:

Likely just a breech seal tightness thing, shouldn't be anything to worry about unless you're feeling air escape out of the breech when you shoot

  • Wayne Meyer from USA asked:

Will the Stormrider barrel band fit the Bandit? I'd like to get rid of the front sight and maybe stabilize the barrel a bit.

    • Keith from USA:

According to the techs at Pyramyd Air the Chaser rifle barrel band will fit.

  • John from USA asked:

Does this use the same fill probe and pump as the Stormrider rifle?

    • Tyler from USA:

Same probe. Any pump with a female QD on the hose can work with that probe
