With over a century in airgun experience, Diana knows exactly what airgunners want most in a PCP air pistol—streamlined features and affordability.

The Diana Bandit is destined for greatness as a backyard friendly PCP plinker. Based on the action of their hit PCP—the Diana Stormrider, the Bandit takes a similar approach to repeating shot action with indexing magazines cycled by smooth operating bolt-action. With 7 shots in .22 and 9 in .177, shooters are sure to enjoy more trigger time with less reloading than most air pistols. Fueled by a 50cc onboard tank, the Bandit makes for a low overhead entry into PCP guns and can easily be filled with a handpump.

The Bandit offers shooters flexibility in their shooting sessions starting with the sights. Each pistol features traditional open sights with fully-adjustable rear sights for shooting straight out of the box. However, if you prefer to mount some optics, remove the rear sight to expose the 11mm dovetail rail. Likewise, the Diana Improved Trigger (DIT) allows the shooter to customize the take-up on the 2-stage trigger for a personalized trigger pull. When you start shooting, you can expect quiet shots from a long fixed-moderator.

If you’re looking for hours of backyard shooting fun knocking down cans or peppering paper targets, make the Diana Bandit PCP yours!

Things I liked: It actually has enough power to hunt with! I put a baby Hatsan rifle scope on it and Wa La 35 40 yrds no problem.

Things I would have changed: Mine could be the Gen 1 because I broke my bolt. My Gen 2 Storm Rider has a much more significant bolt so they definitely worked the problem out. I just bought mine too early.

What others should know: This thing is extremely quiet! If you don't know what you're listening for you don't know what it is that you're hearing across the fence, or across the houses. You can actually pest with this thing in extremely close proximity to occupied dwellings without alerting the people inside. I've had great luck in very low-light conditions almost undetected. Accurate enough to not worry about hitting by product.

Things I liked: For $180 this thing is awesome. If you collect PCPs. Just buy it. This costs about the same as the magazines to some of my others. :-). It is powerful and accurate. Amazingly accurate. In fact it annoys me that it always slightly beats my maurader pistol from the bench. Though the marauder has a lot more pellets through it. I added a UTG bugbuster scope and for quite some time this was my daytime rat hunter at the barn. I dont shoot it like a pistol. I pull than handle up to my chest close for eye relief and stability. It also comes with a moderator and the single shot tray which is nice. Its great for rats in the day when you dont want scare people walking around with a big rifle. The moderator does a good job and I dont startle horses either.

Things I would have changed: I did eventually break the bolt off. Pyramyd Air did send me an upgraded new on at no charge. Thanks! The magazines are a little flunky. Sometimes the last pellet sticks magazine needs to be wiggled to bring it around. Not that bad but not as solid as the maurader. Yes the grip is massive though that may have been changed. I got mine about a year ago. The FPS curve is also a little strange I posted a picture. Very powerful close to max fill then tapers off. I have made no adjustments though. Trigger was not great at first though after adjusting it the second stage is sharp though heavier than my other airguns. I can still shoot accurately from the bench or off hand.

What others should know: Again if you collect PCPs just get one. I also shoot FX, ataman and crosman and still find time for this one. If this is going to be your only PCP though Id recommend spending a little more for a maurader pistol. I had some minor issues including the breaking bolt and pellet feed issues. The taper of the barrel become dented down over time (I believe from broad hollow points). It started to damage pellets and got to the point I needed to run a tapered drill bit by hand over the feed end of the barrel to smooth it back out. Otherwise pellets would not load. I am still amazed about nearly hole on hole accuracy at 35 yards when accounting for velocity. Enough so that I did buy the regulator for it though the FPS dropped a lot. I took it our for now but will try again when I get some time. Most of the time I am shooting rats at 15-35 feet so velocity shifts at that close dont make much of a difference. Again nice affordable PCP. You cant go wrong

  • Karl from USA asked:

Anyone have any idea what the actual bore size of the Bandit is? Having issues with a particular pellet and I'm trying to figure out if the pellets are just too big for the bore.

    • Mark from USA:

There are production variances in guns. You have a tight bore gun. Pellets also vary. You have tried wide ones.

  • Ernest from USA asked:

Will the Air Venturi G9 Hand Pump work with this? Or will an adapter be needed? Thanks.

    • Mark from USA:

The G9 will connect directly to the Bandit fill probe.

  • Paul from USA asked:

The way i understand the field target rules the pistol as to be under 15".If the moderator was removed would it be under 15"?

    • Paul from USA:

I checked the 2018 aafta rules, the over all length can not exceed 25 inches so this pistol can be used in field target matches.

    • Mark from USA:

The barrel (w/attachment-moderator) can be no longer than 15 in. The gun may already fit that requirement. The barrel length is measured from the breech face.
