Description
Featuring all of the hallmarks of the Wildcat MK II, the Wildcat Compact bridges the gap for those wanting the power of a .25 caliber in a package similar in size to the .22 caliber Wildcat standard. The 500mm barrel and 250cc cylinder combine to bring the overall length of the Wildcat Compact to a short 30”. Refusing the compromise on power, the Compact is still putting out the same 48 FPE that the longer 700mm barrel version does. With the shorter air cylinder, users can expect about 30 good regulated shots per fill.
Speaking of the regulator, the Wildcat Compact features the AMP (Adjustable Match Precision) Regulator, allowing shooters to make output pressure changes externally. This rifle also comes with the Smooth Twist X barrel system, providing users the ultimate in accuracy and the unique ability to change liners that are made to favor specific ammo options. To minimize the sound signature, FX employs their stackable moderator system to keep the bullpup backyard friendly.
The other difference Wildcat fans will notice is the change from the 11mm dovetail that is traditionally found on the Wildcat, to a picatinny scope mounting rail. There is also a small picatinny rail section on the fore-end of the stock to accomodate a bipod or other accessories.
The Wildcat Compact is perfect for a walk in the woods, but is still at home on the bench thanks to fantastic ergonomics. Designed from the ground up to be a bullpup, no detail was overlooked. For example, while most bullpup air rifles are built with a cocking mechanism at the rear end of the breech-barrel configuration, the Wildcat MK II Compact’s super-smooth cocking lever sits directly above the trigger group. This allows each round to be loaded into the breech with minimal effort. This means less movement on the shooter’s part and that equals greater accuracy, shot after shot.
Appropriately dubbed the “Warcat” by Ted of Ted’s Holdover fame, the Wildcat Compact is prepared for war. No matter if your war is with small game or paper targets, this is one bullpup that is always ready for battle!

6 of 6 FX Wildcat MK II Compact, Synthetic, .25 caliber Reviews
i like all about this rifle very accurate and even shot count it is very good
Things I Would Have Changedthe weight it is heavy and it is not to small like i was spec-ting but over all i like it if the make it smaller will be the perfect back pack rifle i give it 5 stars even if i complied for some things because. after all it is a very nice rifle.
What Others Should Knowis heavy and not to small
Length and balance, easy to set up for a shot.
Things I Would Have ChangedDifferent cover of regulator adjustment, is a very tiny rubber ball, will get lost very easily, will use tape. Change safety so it can always be put on.
What Others Should KnowInstalled a DonnyFL Model: Tatsu it's shorter then stock. Cannot use pellets with points, not enough clearance in chamber for magazine to rotate.
I think the gun is more accurate then I am , still working on setting the scope up. Out of the box it was at 43 Foot Pounds, cannot be adjusted where the rubber ball is located , port where regulator adjuster is was not aligned. Just have take it apart to align with adjusting port.
Perfect balance, very accurate, quiet even without the extra suppresor, trigger is slick as cat poop
Things I Would Have ChangedNot a darn thing
What Others Should KnowYou may stop using your other guns after firing this one
Everything.. very smooth trigger.. very accurate easy cycling.. it's pretty quiet out the box.. but i actually invested into mines a lil bit.. Soo my FX only Whispers.. Lol
Things I Would Have ChangedIve had only one problem.. whenever i tried to cycle a round into the chamber the whole clip kept popping out.. it may have been the pellets i have chosen but we will see as it warms up outside and i have more time to plink around.. but that's definitely not a deal Breaker for me.. just an observation..
What Others Should KnowIt's definitely one of the Best Rifles Being sold on the Market.. it's a must have if you ask me.. Don't take my word for it .. Because I'm already vested.. Lol
Very light, good ergonomics, excellent accuracy. Air cylinder is small enough to easily hand pump. Addition of DonnyFL Sumo made it very quiet.
Things I Would Have ChangedAdjustable butt pad would be nice; I am 6ft,2in and high scope rings were still a little low.
What Others Should KnowGreat gun, super-smooth operation, fit and finish is premium quality. Unboxing it was a jaw-dropper; thing looks like it is from the future.

Its lightweight, quiet, and very accurate. It's also really hard hitting in .25 cal. It drops a squirrel like nothing and shoulders beautifully.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe only thing I would change is the placement of the safety. It works fine but its in an awkward spot.
What Others Should KnowI want to impress upon you just how accurate this thing is. The first time I had it out where I had some distance I put a target out at 88 yards. I've never shot anything this far with a pellet gun before. I started shooting and ran an 8 shot string relatively quickly. I wasn't trying to impress anyone I just wanted to see if it would hold a group. I kid you not I could cover the entire 8 shot string with my thumb. I didn't think that would be possible with a rifle this small but it sure it. Wowsers...
