In my Benjamin trail 25 the Apollo 25 caliber 33 gn slug shot 1-1/12 inch groups from 50 to 75 yards. Retained amazing speed and trajectory with loud impacts hard hitting with good penetration but not much expansion. I killed several squirrels at that range and with one shot they all died really quick and at 50 yrd and less they literally flu out of the trees. By I'm really happy since I thought I could never shoot slugs in this gun accurate like all the you tube videos show. Granite it's not dime groups but hitting a squirrel at 50 yards was constantly one shot hit and killed fast.
Things I Would Have ChangedI would make a softer slug for lower velocity air rifles to expand more
What Others Should KnowI'm going to try filling the points with body putty. And see if they expand more. It's fast drying fairly hard and light. Most spring break open air rifles don't hold groups because most people don't know how to hold them when shooting them very light grip and let it recoil forward for best accuracy.
