JSB KnockOut Slugs .177 Cal, 13.43gr, Hollowpoint, 400ct

I like the fact these are accurate in my Kral Puncher Knight. Turned my .177 into a viable pesting tool. First slugs I have ever tried in .177.

These go 860 fps out of my Ktal. Penetrate 3" in Clear Ballistics Gel at 12 yds. Expand to .25". I've shot Eurasian collared doves out over 100 yds with these little guys. The higher b.c. than pellets keeps them shooting flatter and further than pellets. Try them in your PCP and see how they do for you!

Good shape, Good hollowpoint, Great Punch on impact, even with medium velocity (821 fps)

With pellets of the same weight and even heavier, would not do what these slugs do at 50, 60 and even 80 yards out of my Talon. If you should start with a single tin of these and test the different velocities for right tune for your rifle, see if the accuracy is acceptable for your needs, then by all means, get more and use them for what they are intended for.

These are the greatest thing to happen to .177's in a long time.

Put a screw on lid on the 13 gr.

They don't require a ton of power but they do like to go fast. I've had good luck shooting them at just about any speed above 900fps on up to about 990. Way more impact than a pellet in the 40-75 yard range and expand enough to not produce a pass through. Great for pesting.

Arrived well packed - zero damage to tins. Shooting these around 920 FPS from my DreamTac in .177. Very accurate little slug!

Accuracy

They are a little pricey

I havent shot these extensively because range trips in 20 degree weather are short. However, out of my 15 year old Falcon FN19 these are extremely accurate. Looking forward to letting the cavernous hollow points work their magic on Starlings and Squirrels when the weather co-operates. Absolutely no complaints regarding this transaction with Pyramid- Thanks!

Jsb are one of the best pellet and slug manufacturers. Not much else I can say

Make a break barrel friendly version. Now that break barrels shoot >1000 ft per second, it would be great to have slugs that fit them. Target practice and small game hunting without needing air fill supply is just much simpler and more fun.

The 13 grains do not fit in all .177 rifles. I tried them in my Gamo swarm with no luck. They do work great in PCPs though.

Internal,external,and terminal proformance. Quality, and consistency is there, JSB speaks loudly and carries a big stick. As far as a 1:16 twist 18" Lothar Walter barrel in a HP Airforce talon the 13.43gr slug has good surface interaction, excellent groups at 35yrds,

#1. Bearing surface is critical. If 13gr are too heavy the Bearing surface is better. The 10gr may be more in the grain size you like, the Bearing surface may be to short and not engage correctly. Do your test I was shocked how well the longer bearing surface did. #2 Airforce barrels have a slight jump to the rifling. You have to seat the slug or it could fall out. That's just the way slugs work, no skirt. Have not tested to 100yrds yet. I have not myself tried 10gr KO's. This info was from testing other .177 slug. So I went straight to 13gr KO's.
