Buy once cry once.

1) Size: Much easier to maneuver in a ground blind even after installing a moderator. 2) Wide tunability ranging from 16 to 45 foot pounds of muzzle energy in .22 Cal. 3) Extremely accurate: 3/16" groups at 25 yards and 1/2" groups at 50 yards using a variety of pellets and slugs ranging from Crosman 14.3HP to H&N 23g/.217" slugs. (I haven't stretched it to 100 yards yet). 4) High power/Low power switch: Can switch from low power ratting in a barn to shooting pigeons out in the open at distance without having to retune the gun. 5) The barrel is NOT chocked enabling me to shoot slugs with great accuracy.

Can't think of anything I would change.

1) I had a Avenge X classic wood stock version that seemed to have a heavier hammer spring than my bullpup version. It seemed to be designed to optimize the .25 Cal. set-up and I don't see how it could be tuned down enough to leave much versatility in the .177 Cal set-up. 2) My .22 Cal. bullpup version has exceptional tunability with a wide range of pellets and slugs 3) The conversion kit to change to the classic wood stock rifle does not include the trigger group. You have to purchase that separately.

Love that it's compact. Very good accuracy out to 100yards so far.

Power! this is a slug lover rifle!! I tried many .217 slugs, it liked them almost all... at 40 yards: 17.5 NSA slug, 20.5 NSA slug, H&N 21gr slug, 24.8 NSA slug, and 25.39 KnockOuts... all of them on an inch group, H&Ns and NSA 20.5 grains gorupet at .8 inches I managed to push the 21gr H&N slug to 975FPS and got .5 inch at 40 yards, only 50 shots on this setup (but i did not optimize my speed) only slug it didn't like was the .217 24.8 NSA Slug...

Barometers... they are confusing only having 3 lines every 1000psi so you can't really tell at what PSI is your regulator is at (accurately)

SO quiet! Powerful! accurate! not pellet fussy, SLUG LOVER, you can really get around 180 shots as advertized on a 30 ftp of energy, so easy to tune and adjust... it is kind of heavy to carry on a walk...
When you unbox it it really have that good quality look.

Simply put I think I like everything about it

Well I have owned it for 2 days shot about 50 rounds through it and so far I wouldn't change anything

Almost all the Fasteners on it was loose, and for some reason the high and low power is backwards.

I currently have a collection of 28 air rifles in various calibers, ranging from break action, CO2, and PCP. I have 4 Avengers in .22 & .25. The AV air rifles are unique as they are fully regulated with the unusual pressure of 4325 psi. My collection of air rifles was inspired by the repeating air rifle of the Lewis and Clark expedition. This rifle had three pre-charged chambers up to 900 psi, which took 1000 pumps to charge. It could shoot 20.46 caliber balls on a single charge. My current research involves measuring the velocity and accuracy of these various air rifles. The best of the air rifles are regulated, lever action, and Foster quick connection. The avenger series is accurate, but not as accurate as the US origin, DAR or JTS. The reason for the loss of accuracy for the Av series is the unsupported front end of the barrel. This has been corrected by adding barrel supports to all AV series of rifles. The AV rifles now matches the accuracy of the UX Origin.

The cartridge of the AV series is the same as the UX Origin. The spring is easily damaged. However, The AV X is to be commended with their extra large cartridge which can hold 13 pellets in the .25 version. I would like a longer railing on the AV rifles. All of the AV rifles have been fitted with green lasers and quality scopes . Large expensive 4x18-50 scopes are not required. A moderately priced 3x9-40 AO scope is sufficient. It is not practical to charge a modern PCP air rifle with a hand pump. There are now a number of excellent PCP compressors available at prices under $500.
Anyone who wishes to enter the air rifle field should obtain a PCP air rifle, which has side lever, not bolt action, and Foster a quick connection. The best air rifles are now fully regulated.

Many things BUT....

Trigger goes off if bumped (or dropped) same force from 6 inch high above ground on top the back of Buttstock. This is not much force at all. Very dangerous flaw

You need to consider this safety flaw. Everything is nice about the gun but if it slipped out of your hand going nozzle up at your head.... you won't be able to patch that hole well. I found out about this when trying to adjust trigger travel distance. Going for return.

Customization: 1. ability to go from rightly to lefty is huge. Especially in a righty but visually a lefty. 2. Much shorter length compared to full stock. 3. Larger magazine. 4. Ability to add a laser close to the barrel and scope on top. 5. Feel great in hand

Air venturi manufacture needs to step up their quality controls. Rifle comes with loose rail, stripped screw, Spring hammer adjusted to low and regulator set at max causing 28gr pellets to fly all over the place due to not enough air coming out. Don't know if everything else is set properly. At first impression my umarex origin 25 shoot dead on dime at 30 yards and this air venturi sends the same pellets in a 6 inch wide spread at 30 yards. After tightened up all screws and up the hammer screw i was able to get close to dime size.

Be sure to look over end inspect the rifle fully to make sure all the visibly screws are tighten before install your scope. I have to remove and redo.
