This harness worked great for my small althon 10x42 binos but could not handle my larger 10x42 athlon rangefinder binos. It's too bad that athlon does not make a larger size to accommodate this product. However the product is well made and strong.
The size is perfect for my 10x50 binoculars, I had a hard time finding something that fit the larger size. They fit very comfortably, the only thing I didn't like is the straps kept loosing up so I had to tape the spot I wanted them.
The bino harness is a hard pass. It is cheaply made and won't last through the riggers of hunting. Additionally it is a generic size so the optics flop around. Pass on this one which is a shame.
The only downside is that the magnetic closure can be awkward to open when you're trying to be quiet and when it closes it can be a little loud. Otherwise, they are great and keep your bino's protected.
Great product giving user more mobility and quicker access. The added storage is always a plus!

Cons: The magnetic closure is not as strong as I thought, pops opens consistently. I use both my Athlon Midas G2 and Vortex Viper 12x50s (only 1/16" length difference) in it and the closure continues to open while hiking. I have to constrict the eye cups to keep the cover in place. I continue to adjust the straps because the lower half is elastic that does not grip well in the buckle to stay in place while worn. I continuously adjust while hiking on easy and intermediate trails. A stronger magnet and non-elastic straps would give a higher rating in my opinion. Pros: The light weight and 4-point harness! I hike around the local area consistently and when out on hunts, it is no problem. I appreciate the mesh sides to keep my pen/marker in place with my hunting tag on the other side for easy access. My cell fits in the back pouch for quick glances at my map.
