BKL 1-Pc Mount, 1" Rings, 3/8" or 11mm Dovetail, 3" Long, Matte Black

After an extensive search online, I came to the conclusion that this specific extended scope mount is "thee" best available mounting system for mounting a Leupold 4X Rimfire Scope on a Browning BL-22 Lever Action .22 LR rifle. It is strong, provides ample eye-relief, light weight and looks great on the BL-22. BLK also makes a 4" version of this scope mount for larger scopes. If I were Browning, I'd contact BKL and see if I could arrange a partnership with them to provide this Scope Mount as the recommended mount for their BL-22.

Nice quality aluminum! Light, good finish. No burs or flaws in the material.

The small 8x32 bolts should be hardened so they don't strip out so easily. Installed my mount on my gun and couldn't even get it tight enough before it stripped out... got some hardened bolts from work and now I can crank it down without worry! I also added a recoil pin to the bottom to insure this doesn't move.

You will need the 35$ riser for a 50mm scope.

This mount is excellent. My only suggestion would be either mill a little off the bottom of the flat between the rings or make the rings a little bit taller to provide clearance for scopes like the new Bugbuster, to eliminate the need to shim it up.

Be aware that the new Bugbuster 3-12x32 scope will not sit in these rings unless you do a fair amount of shimming in order to provide clearance for the slight protuberance of the part of the tube where the turrets are. I am sure there are quite a few scopes that will have the same issue with clearance.

Everything ! BKL is simply the best design today ! I'm buying them to replace all of my one ridged side hook rings and rails. BKL's self centering design is far superior. Your scope or dot site will never be canted to one side or the other ever again. ...That is worth every penny. Not mention they come with everything you need to install and the fit and finish are perfect!

BLK's ability to center on gun because of the grooves cut into the clamping base. It give you equal flexing of both sides for clamping to the gun rail.

The scope rings do not move and the whole setup is tight and straight. Worth the extra money.

I mounted a 3-9 Bug Buster on my TX200, with this mount. I was a little concerned about no stop pin. But after about 700 rounds, it hasn't moved at all. Very solidly built, high quality!

Personally, I'd add a stop pin. Just because I think air rifle scope mounts should have stop pins. ;^) (I'm thinking about drilling/tapping a stop pin hole, some snowy winter day, in the not-too-distant future. Just because....)

I bought this mount for a crosman 1377 w/steel breech to mount a Leapers 3-9x32 Bugbuster scope. I received the scope from pirymid also. After mtg. scope, took 3 shots at 15 yds., 8" low, on center. Added a few strips of paper under the rear scope clamp untill I got POI close, then started adjusting windage and elevation from factory 0 setting. Very pleased with groupes that are dime size at 45'. I love this BKL mount, fits the scope perfectly, solid. They don't mention it, but this is a medium height scope mount.Buy it you'll like it
