The Athlon Optics Talos G2 Laser Rangefinder is an affordable ranging device with a wide array of features in a lighter package than the previous version. It offers 6x magnification and uses a 21mm objective lens, and the fully multicoated lenses result in added brightness and excellent color fidelity with a well-defined view because of their enhanced light transmission when compared to other optics.
The rangefinder has waterproof and fog proof optics because it is nitrogen purged, it has textured rubber armor to provide durable operation and a firm grip even if it gets wet, and it is rainproof to help shield it from poor weather. It can be set to either yards or meters, it has a 7-degree angular field of view, and it features a reflective ranging distance of 850 yards and a deer ranging distance of 300 yards.

Was perfect for what I needed as my first hunting range finder, but wasn’t the most intuitive in changing settings right out the box.
Weight and size are slightly less than comparable products.
This is my first rangefinder and I've had it for a few months now. So far it has been great. Fit and finish is top-notch and it feels great in the hand.
I have had this finder for about 3 weeks and it has been great. There aren't a ton of bells and whistles but it functions great it is durable and works every time with great accuracy, no issues at all!! Very happy with this finder.
It is basic at best. I own a few more different rangefinders that are far more superior. Athlon makes great glass dont get me wrong and i will probably continue to buy just Athlon. This is definitely worth the money and i will put it through the ringer this year pretty much everyday of hunting season.
We have used it extensively in the field and it is very accurate, light and easy to use.
Works great, simple, no nonsense. I like the blue, you'll never lose a blue rangefinder while hunting.
