Benjamin Traveler 4500 PSI Portable Compressor

It fills my marauder in just a couple of minutes. Doesnt have time to get too warm. I also like that it can run off car battery so when in the field I can refill quickly. New to PCPs and did not purchase hand pump no tanks so this is it.

Integration of power supply and pump. With an switch to turn on power. The separate power supply with no switch is kind of a pita.

So far so good with this one. Have used probably 8 times to refill. I did get a initial pump that did not work. It ran but pumped no air. I didnt trouble shoot as it was brand new Pyramyd took good care of me and sent a new one as soon as available.

Works well, used for easily a couple hundred fills in a few months for my .177 Marauder. The gauge appears to be more accurate than that which is on the Mrod. Will run comfortably on a high capacity 4s Lipo battery.

Longer fill line, better liquid separator. This thing allowed a *lot* of moisture in to my tube. Thankfully I took the tube apart to install a Hill upgrade kit and regulator and took the opportunity to thoroughly clean, otherwise Id have had a heck of a time next year.

Get a better water separator if you choose to invest in this or any compressor. Otherwise works well.

I especially like the automatic pressure shut off preset feature and the relative quietness of it compared to others.

Comes with the larger pressure connectors but my Discovery (with a sound moderator) requires the smaller one that comes on the Discovery hand pump. I would make an option include both at no extra charge.

On the new generators there is digital gage on the side which reads when pressure is applied but I have no idea what it is and the owner's manual says nothing about.

Trash, no customer service! No one cares,doesn't work and no one helps.

Wanted it to work but didn't. Want customer service.

Does exactly what it's designed to do. I use it to fill my Benjamin Marauder .25 and Airforce Texan LSS and it works flawlessly every time. Has made PCP shooting more enjoyable than ever for me. It's small, portable and runs on AC or DC current which makes it the perfect adjunct to serious PCP enthusiasts. I fill 200cc to 500cc tanks all day long to 3000 PSI all day long effortlessly.

No complaints here. As stated, it does exactly what it was designed to do.

Not designed to fill large scuba sized tanks. Limit to tanks .6L or smaller is recommended. Would probably do more, but if you want to fill tanks (i.e. 74CF) look at compressors designed to do that. This is for filling guns at home or out on the range and does it perfectly.

Use a better AC to DC converter. Mine didn't work just like many others have complained. Longer air hose would make it easier to fill the gun. Make it the USA as China sell cheap crap like the AC converter. For $700 bucks it should have better quality.

The AC converter was defective and did not work at all. I had to return it.

Easy to use (follow the directions, mine did not have all the switches set correctly for my electricity). Fills guns nicely, takes some time, but less than a hand pump.

Brass blow-out-set-screw blew out way too quickly. I need to call and get a new screw, since I can't find one anywhere.

Stick with re-filling only guns and not bottles. Directions were not clear to me on not being able to fill larger tanks, over 50cu inch.

Its reliable and gets the job done at a decent amount of time. Its easy to transport and can work with the vehicle on or off when hooked to the battery. I do recommend that you have the vehicle running though cause it runs much faster that way.

Quieter. The unit is very loud. Also a slightly longer hose would be helpful.

For the price this compressor gets the job done and does it reliably. It can fill my .357 Carnivore from empty on average in 6 minutes and from 100 bar to 200 bar in just about 3 minutes.

Great for charging guns in the field! For the price it does a great job. Had it for about a year no problems!

Not a big fan of keeping up with inverter. Just throwing this out to Benjamin. I would probably buy the Nomad if I were choosing now simply because its one piece

It worked and works well. I had previously tried to save money and bought a cheaper one on amazon and it didnt work at all. Lesson Learned! Light weight , easy to use, but built well. Wires, cables, construction is a good quality verses that previous air compressor purchased on amazon and then returned to Amazon. smh

Nothing it does exactly what it is for and does it very well. Fills my Airforce Texan and Hatsan Hercules Bully in minutes and has auto shut off.
