Very nice for short to medium critter control, with no pass through which is a nice safety factor.
These are identical to the JSB Hades and at the time of writing, they are significantly cheaper. It might be luck of the draw, but I also had fewer damaged pellets in the tin of Atomics compared to the last few tins of JSB Hades I have purchased. In my rifles that like them, they shoot very well and they have decent expansion characteristics for pest related activities.
Things I Would Have ChangedI wish they would package these in a tin with a screw top lid. The slide on lids come off too easily, and it almost seems like they want you to spill them all over the ground and have to purchase another tin sooner.
What Others Should KnowThese pellets, like the Hades, are somewhat smaller in diameter than many of the common .177 offerings which can result in less than ideal fit in some bores and the potential not to function well in certain magazines. The quality is top notch. These little guys fly straight and accurately out of every gun I’ve tested. I could not find a speed that would cause instability. I’ve tested from 600fps up to 930fps. Absolutely the best pellet for hunting with a .177
