Adjustable Objective, locking turrets, 1/8MOA, toughness, price.
Things I would have changed:Better optics, less zoom and AO control turning force and a locking AO control. Compared to Leapers 8x32x56, the zoom turning force is twice as hard. Flip open objective protective cap fit is poor.
What others should know:I have this mounted to an Air Arms Pro Sport .22 using Beeman large profile 30mm rings. It fits nicely with a few mm to spare on the objective end for lens cap clearance. Note I do not have an adjustable rail installed and was still able to get zero at 10-30yds. I rate this as average optical clarity and brightness compared to a Nikon 6x24x50. I bought this because I couldn't find a Nikon with a low parallax setting AO. Even though Centerpoint claims 95% light transmission there is a big difference compared to the Nikon which also claims 95% light transmission. My comparison was done with common zoom setting ranges of 8 to 16x. The Nikon is clearly superior. It is difficult to tell the difference either in design, appearance or optical clarity/brightness from a Leapers 8x32x56 using common zoom settings. The Leapers and this Centerpoint are both made in China. The Nikon used for this comparison is made in the Philippines. I had read opinions that Centerpoints are rebranded Leapers. Judging by these two scopes, Centerpoint and Leapers are one and the same. The only noticeable difference is the objective hood on the Centerpoint juts out farther at the top than the bottom. This makes the protective flip open lens cap fit poorly. Good scope for the money, it has all the features you want in an air rifle scope; low parallax, AO, locking turrets, adjustable eyepiece, 1/8moa, lots of vertical reticule travel. Optics clarity and brightness is good, but not excellent.

Clarity of optics and light transmission, Precise Mil-Dot reticle which is "correct" at 10X, Side-focus parallax adjustment, Durability.
Things I would have changed:The windage and elevation turrets on mine had sloppy adjustments that where not always repeatable. This was to be expected from a scope of this price though. It has not been an issue for me though as I use the Mil-Dots on the reticle to compensate for different ranges instead of adjusting the turrets. This scope is also a bit on the heavy side. If you are primarily shooting off a benchrest it would not be an issue at all, but lugging it around in the woods might be undesirable. However I personally DO use it as a scope for small game hunting. I don't really mind the weight much because I use a sling when carrying the rifle, but I understand that many may like a lighter rig when hunting on the move.
What others should know:I have had this scope for several years now. It has been mounted on a Benjamin Marauder in .22 and has preformed flawlessly. The optics are good, but don't expect Leupold quality lenses in such an inexpensive scope. The side-focus is a little stiffer than other scopes I have used. Get yourself a extended Leapers Accushot sidewheel to make it easier to make precise parallax adjustments. I have one mounted and it makes minor focus adjustments much easier. I would recommend this scope to anyone interested in shooting at longer ranges with greater precision with their air rifle. It has lasted years and has held up to lots of shooting mounted an several kinds of air guns. It has been mounted on my Marauder for the past two years and I think it complements the rifle well.
