My favorite kitchen knife for over fifteen years. I use it daily.

We received this knife 40 years ago, engraved by Western Baptist College. It was a gift for donors. It is still our sharpest best go to knife in the drawer, so we gifted new ones to our now adult children. Thank you for reasonably priced awesome cutlery that we can still use after 40 years! Thank you too for giving to Western Baptist now Corban University, our Alma mater, where my father was president at the time.

This is an incredibly high quality knife with a price point comparable to cheesy stuff like Farberware.

This is the 9th or 10th blade (only the 4th kitchen knife) I have purchased from Cold Steel over the last 20 years. The sharpness of the knives and the length for which they have held an edge has been consistently impressive. In comparing the Chef's knife to other more expensive culinary knives, my experience has been that the Cold Steel knives hold up notably better over time.

one of my best knives yet. Slice tomatoes, tomatoes don't stick to knife. Stays sharp, slices extremely thin. Well balanced and handle fits extremely good in hand.

This is my a replacement knife for the kitchen set because I need to send the other one back to be sharpened after years of owning it….but I can’t live without it!

I've had my chefs knife for almost 2 years. It has been a great knife the whole time. I will NEVER call a Cold Steel knife cheap, they are very inexpensive. I just touch it up before each use and the knife will shave if that is what is required. I hardly ever need to touch it up during use. I also like the handle design great job.

I bought this a year or so ago. This knife makes food prep enjoyable and quick. Sharpens easy. Holds an edge. My go to knife. Need to add a couple smaller Cold Steel knives to my kitchen collection. I also have the Recon 1. Excellent trust worthy folder.
