Small and very handy, sharp, works smoothly, I can easily and quickly open it with one hand
Bought mine years ago. Put a parcord lanyard on it with two diamond knots that fit securely between each finger. It's obviously a small knife, but don't underestimate its abilities. As expected, it is Cold Steel strong and scary sharp. Super light and can be carried almost anywhere.
I've had this knife for a week now and I love it. Wouldn't change a thing. It is functional, light, sharp, esthetically pleasing,a real gem for your pocket. Well crafted. Nice job Coldsteel

I'm a lady who loves my knives and tools. The Micro Recon 1 is a very sturdy, lightweight useful knife. It is small, but easy for me to hold (I do have a small hand), to manipulate and feel safe. I like the shape of the blade, and the sharp tip. I carry a knife everywhere I go, because my fingernails are like paper, and tear -- the knife is my fingernails. The tiny size is non-threatening, at stores and jewelry shows - cute - subtle, but ALL knife. I WISH that it had a clip, so that I could clip it to my shirt, shorts or running tights, but I realize that it is a very tiny knife. The last knife I had, that I love, has a lock release on the bottom of the knife, and while I was doing a "twisting cut", like I have done for years, I accidentally squeezed too hard and released the lock -- BAD BAD AWFUL cut to the bone on my finger. This Micro Recon 1 won't do that. So far, I'm very well pleased with this darling, durable knife!
