Great airgun fun. When the colored kill zone is hit, the target falls. To reset, simply pull the cord. Target and kill-zone reducers are solid steel construction. Includes anchoring stakes and reset pull cord.
While Gamo does not provide a max velocity or energy for this target, field target clubs in the U.S. usually limit guns to 20 ft-lbs or less. You will damage the target (and possibly the mechanism) if you shoot at it with more powerful guns or larger-caliber pellets. Gamo states that you should place the target no closer than 25 yards.

What others should know:Better shoot straight!

Fairly sturdy. Hook on pop in holes holds them in place pretty well. Only shooting at 20Yds, so I brazed a smaller washer on the smallest hole. Works great.
Things I would have changed:Add one more hole that is smaller for closer shooting.
What others should know:Need to bolt it to a heavy base so you can easily pull it back up. Easier to pull up if you set it so it does not fall completely down.

In your opinion, would I be safe in using this target with a Diana Bandit in .22 cal? Muzzle energy is 12 ft lbs, max velocity is 630 fps (though what caliber/pellet weight is not specified with that figure.) Range of use would be about 20 feet (that's how far the bird feeders are from the window I shoot out of... darned tree-rats scare the birds away!). Thanks!
These are used for field target all the time @ 10 yds. ( 30 ft. ) with rifles @ up to 20 ft lbs. with no ill affects.
Gamo states that you should place the target no closer than 25 yards. Plenty of folks use these at 10 yards, but not much closer typically
i have a crosman stealth fury 2,it claims to shoot 1200fps,but i use a crosman ultra magnum round top lead pellet that weighs 10.4 grains.how can i tell how many ft lbs my gun is shooting? and at 10 yards will it hurt this target in any way?
I agree totally with Tyler, But and that's a big But if you use the 1200F.P.S. number and the 10.4 that works out to 33.78 foot pounds.
You would need a chronograph to actually determine the true velocity of a specific pellet in your rifle. Without it, you're just guessing.
will this withstand hits from a .25 lead pellets from a Trail XL?
Cody even if the Trail XL is shooting at 700 fps with a 25 gr. pellet it's putting out 27 ft. lb.s most field target matches reguire less then 20 ft. lbs. or the target will start showing bending after several hits.
I know for sure that gun isn't shooting 25 gr. Pellets at 900 fps and not getting any where near 44 ft lbs of energy. 25 ft pounds tops. The new hatsan 30 cal gets 33 ft lbs and that is the most powerful Springer by far. Don't believe me get a chronograph. The xl will shoot 14 grain pellets around 900 ish. This will do fine I use it with my xl
NO! With the XL you're shooting app. 900F.P.S. and if you use a 25 gr. pellet you're putting out app.44 FT.LBS. These field targets will begin to show damage @ 20 FT.LBS.

Holding up so far. The different sized plates have a few dents/bends, nothin a hammer cant flatten, lol. but they're getting smacked with .25 FX and Hades @30yds from an Avenger.
Things I would have changed:Make it a little thicker. Make reducing plates thicker. Make spikes longer/double sided.
What others should know:Not a bad target, even for .25 Avenger. Some people said that the plates might fly off from a hit impact. I wrapped a small rubber band around the back tab and they keep it secure. problem solved.
