Description
In single-action mode, we got a high of 426 fps with RWS Hobby pellets, with an average of 406 fps. In double-action (using RWS Hobby pellets), we got a high of 398 fps, with an average of 374 fps. Gletcher indicates a velocity of 328 fps on their box and 360 fps in their manual.
According to airgun writer Tom Gaylord, sometimes pellets back out when pressed in with your thumb. He used the Pellet Pen to deeply seat the pellets into the shells, and none of the pellets popped out.

+The only 7 shot revolver + looks very real and feels good in the hand
Things I Would Have Changed-I would remove the safety switch, just like the real thing. -Rifling does not extend through the entire barrel, so I would lengthen the rifled inner barrel.
What Others Should KnowBEFORE YOU BUY:
1. The rifling in the barrel is only about 3 inches long.
2. This version has a safety switch.
In the various description’s, twice it mentions having a safety switch HOWEVER in the specs and image provided IT SHOWS NO SAFTEY! A little bit of a conflict there, but if you are buying this for pure realism get the Airgun Depot variant. It lacks the safety just like the real thing. The gun also has a “faux barrel” where the inner barrel that’s rifle ends about half way through the outer barrel. It’s as if they just put a snub nose inner barrel in and still designed a full sized revolver. This was a bigger disappointment as this airgun is comparatively expensive to not have a full length rifled barrel. So far disappointed for the price point but hopefully time with this airgun will dictate it’s fun factor.
I love everything about this.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe manual is not very clear about the removal of the pin which holds the cylinder in place. It is hidden well beneath the ejector.
What Others Should KnowA very nice old fashitioned revolver and light weight. Fits well in the hand.
It is well made
Things I Would Have ChangedMaking it last longer than 6 months
What Others Should KnowI had my revolver for 6 months fire a good 150 rds.
Then it started to leak around the firepin
The way it feels in hand is nice, and it is pretty powerful for a co2 pistol, I put some crossman fast flights for opening rounds and it shot threw 20 Dixie paper plates that are the sturdier kind, that was impressive lol. I like these replica guns of old cuz I know I probably will never get to shoot a real one but to plink around with these is a really fun.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing yet
What Others Should KnowBaby it so it will last lots of fun.
Great look and rifled barrel
Things I Would Have ChangedBetter finnish on metal and better pins.
Very nice replica. All metal, easy to operate and load, consistent accuracy, nice smooth trigger, fits the hand well, seems well made to last.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing.
What Others Should KnowIt is an outstanding example of fine workmanship and functionality. I got 72 good strong shots from a single CO2 cartridge.
I bought this ~3 years ago, so I don;t have the latest model. That said, this is one of my favorite CO2 airguns. It points well, is very accurate, the action is crisp and realistic - nice and sharp in single action, smooth and predictable in double action. A lot of nice detail on the replica. Good fit, finish, and parts interaction all around. I was sorry to see them discontinue the rifled barrel pellet firing version, glad it's back. A superior plinking airgun on it's own, a must-have if you're a fan of the M1985.
Things I Would Have ChangedOne problem I had, and it's not a knock against this gun, because it's my fault: I left a CO2 cartridge in for a week, and when I turned the key to remove it, the CO2 cartridge rotated the peircer assembly, backing it out slightly, and causing a leak. I tightened it back up, it happened again later, and I ultimately fixed it by dabbing a little threadlocker on the peircer assembly. No problems since. When I remove a CO2 cartridge, I hold it in place so that the cartridge doesn't rotate while you're taking the pressure off.
Closely resembles the original, which I have, in looks, heft, form and function. The trigger pull, both double and single action, is good, and actually better than the original. A very good-looking and accurate replica of a historically important firearm.
Things I Would Have ChangedI would have given it 5 stars, had my revolver not come with terribly misaligned sights. It shot 10 inches to the left at 10 yard out of the box! I tried to tighten the barrel a tiny bit (it might have not been 100% seated), which helped, but it still shot about 5-6 inches to the left. I then filed the right top side of the front sight blade down about 1/3 of its width, making it thinner and moving it effectively to the left, then refinished the sight with gun blue. Now it effectively shoots to point of aim (still just under 1in to the left, but I can compensate for that). I do a lot of hobby gunsmithing on firearms and have an extensive set of gunsmith tools, so I did not mind too much, but I should not have needed to do that on a new gun. Either the sights or quality control need improvement.
very good copy
Things I Would Have ChangedThe only thing that would have made this gun better would be a cut back cylinder as on the original,
